She died, of a disease she would not have acquired but for the Nazis. A disease that is fatal in less than 20% of cases if treated with basic nursing care, in a previously healthy person. But she was starved, overworked, and given very poor care. “Hospital” deceptively implies what we think of as a normal hospital- proper care, medication, nourishment and facilities. It is inappropriate to apply it to the isolation blocks in which people were left to die, or occasionally recover, in the camps.

It takes about twenty minutes to cremate a body to bones - burn off the flesh and most internal organs. At Auschwitz they had over fifty ovens. It was possible to burn more than one body at time, and to put new bodies in once the first batch of say, four or five small children, had been burned to bones. So you get a throughput per oven of about nine bodies per hour, although it takes about an hour and a blot to two hours for the major lumps of bone in adult bodies to break down to powder. This isn’t a problem, as you leave the lumps in to burn more when you throw in another couple of kids and little old ladies.

So at Auschwitz they had capacity to burn over a million bodies a year, allowing for downtime for maintenance and so on. They only actually burned about 1.5 million or less. So simple math says it was entirely possible.

Those are internal figures from the International Tracing Service, of persons traced (German citizens traced I should say) not totals of deaths in the camps, let alone Jewish deaths. If you want to redpill people on the holocaust then stop calling the whole thing a hoax. The German government put a lot of people in conditions where death was inevitable from 1941 to 1945. You can disagree on the casualty rates, how over or under-represented certain groups of victims were, causes of death, intentions, or the material of the doors all you want, but saying "the holocaust was a hoax and it didn't happen" implies that a fuckton of people didn't die in German labor camps. Which would be insane, because there's no way Germany could have supported so many prisoners and contained populations when they couldn't support their own army or civilian population in the last years of the war. Even if you think the Germans honestly meant the best for their prisoners and tried up to the end to save them from disease, forcefully containing people who you do not have the resources to keep alive is an extermination.

The Soviets started by calculating how many bodies they could have burned, given the ovens they had. Which of course was not correct. They could have burned simillion, if all the ovens present at the end of the war had been built at the start of the camp but they were not.

The total of minimum 5.1 to possible over 6 million, most probably 5.5 to 5.7 million, which is the figure used in th west and confirmed by historians, was calculated mostly by census data - there is huge drop in the number of European Jews, and they don’t turn up anywhere else - they didn’t get out.

The numbers killed in any one place are harder to determine. But historians have found documents to suggest how many were sent to various places, how many survived or were sent on from there, and how many probably died there. That is how the figure of probably 1.25 to 1.5 million killed at Auschwitz (in all the thirt subcamps as well as the three main camps) was achieved

It also takes about a buhjillion joules of heat. Realistically you wouldn't invest that much fuel into burning bodies unless you were trying to prevent the spread of disease from cadavers which, as has been states a gorrilion times, would make no sense in a camp where your expressed goal was to exterminate the population of the camp. It would be much more economical to dig holes or have the victims dig their own holes, as was the case in almost every other genocide committed since the dawn of germ theory and/or an association between disease and dead bodies.

I think mass executions took place during the later years once disease and starvation already rendered a large portion of contained populations useless. It would definitely make sense to help free up space and reduce disease transfer to newer or healthier prisoners. All sides had stockpiles of poison gas that they restrained from using in direct military operations so I don't think gas chambers were impossible, and they would be preferred to firing squads which could cause panic and disorder among other prisoners who would be fully aware of the executions. And the best way to handle the bodies would be crematoriums.

The mainstream holocaust view makes a lot of sense when you actually decide to learn about it. The problem is that people exaggerate it to ridiculous proportions and then attack the version of it they made up. It wasn't this diabolical evil annihilation plan to harvest human skin, it was a demographic reform operation that went to complete shit along with everything else on the German side of the war.

That's for cremations where you completely turn remains into ash. You could easily partially burn a Jew and scoop out some of the bone fragments etc.

It says that in a small cremation oven designed with strict emissions regulations, running from cold to cold, with a full sized adult in a coffin, it takes about three hours to reduce them to pretty fine ash and be able to rake it out to put in an urn.

Google ‘hurikan 3000 portable incinerator ‘ and you will find a trailer based animal carcas incinerator that can render one tone of animals (say about thirteen of me, a full sized adult) to ash in one hour. That does. It mean that it burns one corpse very 4 minutes. But you can put in 13 bodies and in one hour they are entirely burned.

The ovens in the camps (and they also used pyres which could be over a thousand bodies at time being burned, so this argument about length of time is moot anyway) were run hot. They didn’t eat them cool - that is bad for them, even when. It using them they are kept hot (cooling and heating makes the bricks contract and expand and break down - best to keep them hot). They also didn’t burn them in coffins. They didn’t burn them singly, and carefully rake out the ash. They stacked them in, children on top of adults, and when they were part burned, and ther was room for another, they shoved in another one.
