The study body is compromised without a doubt, but the faculty (for the most part) is not. If you decide to do Civil Engineering it is mostly white with a sizable minority of hispanics going into construction management. In my opinion, the most white major you can do is mechanical engineering.

STEM is a very broad term "science" absolutely is going to shit, and I have a bachelor of science. It's dumbed down, there's a big push to connect everything to social issues, and the programs let basically anyone in. The only part of science that's okay is physics, but everything else is basically compromised, and physics will go too.
Tech, engineering, and math are all still fine as far as I can tell, but math is basically useless unless you want to go into academia.
If you count medicine as STEM, it has the same problems science has, though at least you can make money in medicine
