I live nearish to three indian reservations, and they literally don't care about their houses at all. They put next to zero effort into making them nice or keeping them nice.

I live in AZ and come in regular contact with natives. They are all pretty shitty. But I want to take this moment to recognize the shittiest of all tribes, the Papago (or as they identify the Tohono O'odham). These ones are the absolute bottom of the barrel of all the tribes. Their rez is on the US/mexico border. Ive been through several rez' s but theirs is the shittiest. 3rd world fuckery. I work for the Border Patrol and have to deal with them regularly and they as a whole are the shittiest group of people I have ever met.

Native reservations are sad because anyone worth a damn leaves to live somewhere else, and the tribal government embezzles most of the money and then tells the meth-addicted trailersquatters that it never existed.

The one salvation Native governments have is refusing to recognize your status as a Native, whether for community involvement or gibs, simply because of a great-grandparent. This keeps a lot of the nigging out, that plagues the modern black American community. It also keeps the community relatively united, as opposed to blacks and Hispanics who leap at opportunities to kill their own kind.
It's not done for moral reasons, of course, they're just greedy about sharing their casino money, but it's still a positive aspect of an otherwise shitty community.

Also, alcoholism is bad for a wide variety of reasons. Depression and enabling aside, Native genes have no alcohol tolerance and it absolutely destroys them.
