Science holds back religious progress.

Show me one "missing link" between any species.

Americans

niggers

God created evolution.

evolution theory does not require missing links you fucking dropout.

Noice, do it with tannies now

Yes, ignorance damns progress.

>thats evolution
Kek no its not. Its mutation at worst and adaptation at best.

There is no evidence of a species "evolving" into a new species such as the famous "dinosaurs turned into birds" theories.
The closest thing to a new species is cross breeding closely related subspecies. Such as dogs, or mixed race humans. But even then they are still clearly similar to their origin, unlike dinosaurs into birds.

Only monotheism hold back scientific progress due its dogma.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australopithecus

>God created evolution.

That's the sad part, that Christians can't accept that as a wonderful theory that takes nothing away from the magnificence of their god.

Oh yeah, you have to be a retard to be a true believer, so skip that.

>There is no evidence of a species "evolving" into a new species
Then explain how native americans exist.

>There is no evidence of a species "evolving" into a new species such as the famous "dinosaurs turned into birds" theories.

There is unlimited evidence for evolution.

"specie" is a social construct

make up whatever origin stories make you feel like you understand the world
you'll still be making them up, since you can't ever experience the past and the number of possible explanations for an unrecorded past with no concrete characteristics is literally infinite

neck yourselves gaytheists

That's convenient

No science is holding itself back by embracing consensus.

>Posts ridiculous cartoon that odes not describe evolution but claims it does
>Asks unrelated question about science and religion
Fuck off, slider.

Then why is it so hard to present without changing the definition of evolution to include things that clearly arent evolution?

Evolution is not science. Definition of science is "it can be done in lab in time". Evolution can not be proven bcz it takes millions of years(or so they preach it). Therefore it is not scientific, it is a theory.

Species undergo continuous change. Find a missing link, there are missing links between it and the original two. Not to mention that fossilisation itself is rare, we can't just dig up a million skeletons.

science is a methodology
consensus-cultists are humans who have identifiable interests in making themselves and their in-groups feel special and important

Millions of years for massive mutations like is going from rodent like things to humans. Also if evolution is not real explain niggers.

Are you currently wearing two different kinds of thread?

Straight to hell

>you'll still be making them up
You are doing the same thing religious retard.

No.
Originally science was religion.

Let's get everyone on board with girls are girls and boys are boys before we try to nail down evolution

Just Catholic priests, monks and nuns developed/expanded/created
>non-Euclidian geometry
>hereditary theory
>seismology
>the first observatory (inside the Vatican, I might add)
>Hubble's Law
>The Big Bang Theory
>the University system
>Hospitals
Hell, son, it was Catholic Monks who invented *the scientific method*!
Go be ignorant somewhere else

Christians are such kikes when it comes to evolution, stop trying to twist words to avoid the discussion YOU FUCKING KIKE

Not after the Christian deep state overtakes this God damned reality by making moves into physical reality from through the cosmic firmament

i'm not on either side but that's not the kind of evolution people don't believe in. they believe that a bird can evolve into other types of bird, or a fish can evolve into other types of fish, but they don't believe that a fish can evolve into a lizard, or that monkeys can evolve into humans. they also don't believe that something like an eyeball can evolve out of single-celled bacterial organisms. not my views but if you're gonna argue at least get THE FUCKING FACTS STRAIGHT YOU STUPID GOD DAMN IGNORANT FUCKING RETARD

I'm putting my conviction in an explanation and owning that faith commitment
gaytheists want to feel super duper special and claim they don't have faith in anything, when that's absolute nonsense and they're in the same fucking epistemological cloud as fucking every other human on earth

It used to, for a thousand years.

Hey dude Google the platypus, mammal that evolved from reptile u absolute mong

Shut up retard.

>Hell, son, it was Catholic Monks who invented *the scientific method*!
Galileo and Francis Bacon are catholic monks?

The same church that denies evolution, give it a rest.

how will he ever compete

We are eukaryotes dumbass, bacteria are prokaryotes we split from them billions of years ago.

>Catholic church denies evolution
Don't make shit up, son, makes you look stupid

About as much as any human ideology.

I would argue progressivism is the largest threat to scientific integrity at the moment due to the religiosity which its followers place progressive tenants above scientific inquiry of the data.

Any ideology that has the power to suppress inquiry into its sacred cows is a threat to the development of human knowledge.

It's en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periophthalmus btw
something between fish and frog

No. Some of the most imaginative thinkers in the history of science were deeply religious.
Good thing too, intelligent people without any religion tend to tear themselves apart with existential dread

No. The only scientific progress that has ever been halted on religious grounds is in fields involving human experimentation and the sanctity of human life shouldn't be something we are willing to erode for the sake of widening big pharma's profit margin.

Came here to post this fpbp

Theist evolution is the obvious solution here. Science and religion/spirituality don’t contradict each other, just ideologues in each side manipulate both to create false contradictions.

Daily reminder, God planted these fossils so that faggots like you can say dumbshit like you just posted.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils

Bs. Plenty of mutations and population changes and responses to environmental pressure have been demonstrated by bacteria in labs.
In fact we are demonstrating evolution with drug resistant germs right now.
This is true. Anybody quoting a consensus should be tattooed across their forehead "antiscience"

theists have an omnipotent God who created all things and can do anything
God creating matter in motion should be ruled out because _____
nice

The problem with mass education is people think it’s a linear tree of evolution like we’re a bunch of fucking Digimon

The mistake is presuming there is a solid definition of evolution
Some people use the term evolution to mean "however a species changes over time, for any reason"
others use it to mean "specific adaptations to help a species survive"
while others use it as "a species DNA changes, on purpose, to adapt to the environment to create a new species"

The last one is all the anti-evolutionists object to, but when they voice their concern, people strawman them into arguing against the first two

>Their god
Jew spotted lets pack it up boys shows over

Attached: bennny.gif (492x300, 1.67M)

>Science and religion/spirituality don’t contradict each other,

>planet made in six days
>planet existed before the sun
>planet existed before the stars
>ocean was made at the same time as dry land
>no contradictions

Why are christfags so fucking stupid?

>imagine being so low iq you can't fathom concepts outside of the material world
>imagine being this npc
>using a fucking cartoon
>thinking there's anyone left in the world who doesn't believe in evolution unironically
brainlets lol

Attached: 1536946485888.png (412x438, 127K)

Modern science was estsblished by christian organizations. To say that christianity is "anti-science" because of a dispute over the relatively minor field of evolutionary biology is fucking retarded.

Exactly. I'm so pissed more people don't know this

>all christians are fundies

yeah no

>using a fucking cartoon
the irony is killing me

a lot of peopel in america doesn't believe in evolution unironically

>let me, an atheist ideologue, list off a bunch of extremist theistic ideologue beliefs held over from Ancient Sumeria taken out of context and far too literally interpreted.
Thanks for proving my point in every single way. Faggots like you can’t see there are reasonable, nuanced middle ground points of view here.

if birth defects are evolution then why do leftists want to kill children with birth defects?

insofar as your notion of evolution entails a religious narrative about humans "developing" out of non-humans, the number of people who don't accept that is high and the number of people who shouldn't accept that is limitless

Such as Yahweh existing right? Oh please shut up already. Not a single christian theory is complex because most idiots can understand them.

Ftfy. Religion provides scientists with pacified tax cattle/lab rats

An ever present monotheistic creator of reality doesn’t contradict anything. We still don’t know where reality came from, and because of this it’s still a hypothetical possibility. You have the atheists chidlish understanding equivalent to the fundie that thinks the earth is flat. Ignorant ideologue vs ignorant ideologue. You prove my argument every time you type stupid shit out.
