My theater always does this though for any movie about to come out. If you zoom ahead in their release schedule to Thursday, it will only list the movie/s getting released on that day; the schedule is properly updated a few days before. This is due to the fact that theaters are never certain how many seats they can fill, but do know when a new movie (and potential sales) will be available.

Starting March 8, for many days it seems this is the only film playing at the Optiplex in my area. I don't go to the cinema anymore so it gives me the pleasant assurance that there is no one watching it. But clearly there are. So we shouldn't comfort ourselves by saying that it's not being seen.

From AMC, Arlington Texas, looks like these three for the entire weekend. Through Captain Marvel is showing on like 4 at a time, such as IMAX, Dolby Digital, Real 3D. In total show times, on Saturday the 9th, we have 5 showings for How to Train Your Dragon. 5 for Lego... and Captain Marvel for a total of 12 showings. What the fuck.... this is real.
