In times of turmoil In times like these Beliefs contagious Spreading disease This wretched mischief is now coursing through your souls Never to let go Never to let go
Them rats!
Into your sanctum You let them in Now all your loved ones And all your kin Will suffer punishments beneath the wrath of God Never to forgive Never to forgive
This devastation left your cities to be burnt Never to return Never to return! Them filthy rodents are still coming for your souls Never to let go Never to let go!
ghost is a christian hard rock band with a satanic theme intended to subvert degeneracy, so yes.
Justin Wright
Pretty sure this song is about literal rats...and possibly Christians. Though that would be a bit redundant, since it's immediately followed up with "Faith". Also, the most positive discussion I've ever had about this band was on /x/. Judging by the first post, that's probably not going to change.
I usually listen to nu-metal bands for their instrumentals not their lyrics. What really sucks is that most of these bands have higher pitched voices and I can never find some good rhythmic metal with deep non-scratchy voices. Will take suggestions. The type of bands I like are Bloodbath, Amon Amarth, The Monolith Deathcult, Demon Hunter, Mastodon, Rotting Christ, OOMPH, Rammstein, and several more.
Dont forget elisabeth >jewess drinks blood of the young goyim to stay young.
Samuel Jenkins
i remember them from high school when they sold that buttplug. I liked their cover of that abba song. they are not redpilled they are just incredibly swedish.
Charles Walker
>i like numetal >the bands i like are... >doesnt list numetal bands
Korn was actually fucking good Its really a shame that theyve peen painted as cringelords and im sure the jews are to blame even if it is kinda true
Leo Watson
>the Inquisition was basically men accusing women of being the Devil just because they had a hard-on for them. Kek "sw*dish intellectuals." Can't dress as Imams and criticize Islam though because then Mohammed and Ahmed will behead you.
Josiah Jones
I've just discover this band this week. Heard that song. It's not the type of music I usually go for, but I love that song Fucking amazing. Haven't listened to any of their other stuff. Not sure I want to in case it's all trash.
David Howard
The Externalization of the Hierarchy. Pure garbage swedish pop music.
Blake Carter
Ghost is actually pretty good desu.
Evan Turner
He doesn't even pay his former band mates the money he owned them. That man is a fucking rat and sings like a choir boy. At lest Powerwolf had some balls.
Good. Fuck the pozzed pope and his followers. From the pinnacle to the pit Cirice Dance macabre All gr8 shit
Adrian Fisher
What? I don't actually want to listen to nu-metal and rarely do. But when I get bored of listening to the same songs on repeat and hear a new nu-metal song I don't even bother having hope in the lyrics.
Why the fuck would anybody genuinely like nu-metal?
Lucas Evans
Nowhere near as good as Goblin or Skinnypuppy.
Landon Rodriguez
Watched the a minute of the video. The singer has a weak, prepubescent voice and he's prancing and twirling around like a homo. No thanks.
Jack Bennett
>he doesn't like deftones Thanks for proving once again /mu/sic lovers have shit taste. Adrenaline, White Pony, Koi No Yokan, and Gore are some of the best albums of any musician ever and I'm not even a nu-metal lover by nature. Branch out away from radio-rock.
Deftones was one of the earliest if not earliest nu-metal band, while other bands crossed genre into what was later known as nu-metal it was never really a thing. Faith No More for example. Deftones first two CDs were assuredly nu-metal. Deftones as it is today sounds more like a cross of Doom Metal and Punk. They are comparable to Tool in the fact they were able to stay relevant by evolving literally through their music.
Unlike Tool however, Deftones is still relevant because they kept changing. While Tool couldn't move past the hippie re-enlighten movement the hipsters tried to pull in the 2000s.
Henry Adams
I like deftones but honestly tool is better. Its not that they couldnt move past anything, I dont think theyre the type to care about trends, they just stopped making music.
>stop caring about trends >their music is literally nothing, but trends sorry I'm just going to disagree. I love Tool, specifically early 90s Tool. However everything Maynard has made post Lateralus is utter garbage. It's pretty obvious. Lateralus itself was nowhere near the quality of Undertow.
This. Christianity has become so taboo in mainstream Western that Christians are turning to esoteric symbols to recognize each other again (meme magic, anyone?).
Ghost is spreading the message, warning us that Satan is in control of the world now. The only way they can do this is by embracing faux-Satanism, and illustrating Satan's influence on our world through lyrics and symbols.
personally i think opiate>aenema>undertow>lateralus>10000 theyre music does kinda follow trends but at the same time it has a very punk spirit of not caring about those trends. Also while i like the opiate album the most the patient is my favorite song of theirs.
I can agree for the most part on your selection. The problem is after Undertow/Aenema I think Tool falls far and quickly.
While Deftones has had ups and downs, but continued to surprise me thirty years later. They have also put out more music and collaborated more with other bands. All these points together is why I think Deftones is an objectively better band. Even if I like Undertow better.
Kevin Thomas
I get it, it doesn't make it good. I've listened to all of those cds countless times, I only owned 8 cds and 4 of them were tool cds. The other being deftone's adrenaline, gorrilaz self titled, NIN the downward spiral, and Skinny Puppy VIVISECTION.
Lateralus is just not that good. It tries way too hard to be edgy and that's coming from a band that is in the running for edge incarnate.
Justin Lewis
Listen to your inner child (molester)
Liam Parker
This. And the Misfits. And Fugazi.
Hunter Sanchez
This band is pretty great.
Jack Morris
>It tries way too hard to be edgy
Pretty much the opposite of edgy, to be candid and forthright. This is a band that worshiped Fripp's King Crimson and worked hard to emulate their master:
Undertow is by far their most visceral album. It is so raw and beautiful. Lateralus is not as good. For some reason it's the album nuTool fans have latched onto, and they are mostly insufferable psueds and ironically atheists when Tool is about as far from atheism as you can get, with many of their songs post Ænima basically being gospel music, like Parabola, Reflection, Jambi, Right in Two, etc. Ænima is objectively their best album though, and one of the top ten greatest rock albums of all time. It is highly influential.
Ghost is a fun band, one of the best live acts Iive seen, Tobias the main guy is a super prolific writer. He's also a self professed Satanist who I think is actually a sex magician in the Crowley sense. He also bad mouthed Trump during the election at his shows. A mixed bag for Jow Forums
Ian Brooks
ew kill yourself zoomer ghost is a shitty band putting a bad name on a shittier genre of music that i at least used to respect now its just like everything else thats gay
lead singers a freemason who fucks kids
Landon Gomez
>Luciferian >Hates Trump >Swedish >Mixed Bag We did it Reddit!
David Diaz
>Undertow is by far their most visceral album. It is so raw and beautiful. Lateralus is not as good.
>Death, misery and tears >Calculated waves of fear >Drawn up by think tanks >There's a darkness in the west >Oil swilling guzzling corporate >Central banking mind fucking omnipotence
>False flags and black ops >Tavistock manufactured shocks >Something´s gone horribly wrong >Hot flushes for the Neo Con >A population in deep denial >Contagion released from a phial
>No one believes in nine eleven >Steel frame buildings don´t fall in seconds >Murderers in black robes decapitate innocents >The public banks stare >Did you sleep okay last night mister Blair
ghost os awesome but theyre not /ourband/. it literally is satan music
Cameron Moore

Gavin Clark

Eli Young
Are you saying you think they're speaking positively about the west?
Christian Long
Nu metal is pretty much hipster code for "it kind of reminded me of Limp Bizkit" >inb4 muh real metalheads No true Scotsman would ever tune his guitar to drop D, we get it
Brayden Watson
Tool is good. They def mellowed out over time. Deftones are good. Although Chinos distinct style can get tiring. Ghost has some good songs. Avatar has some good songs.. Mastadon is ok but a bit overrated. Ive been into The Sword lately. Clutch fucking rocks.
For nu-metal...Nonpoints first three albums were amazing... After that not so much. Im going to see Coheed and Cambria with Mastodon this summer. Coheed has some great writing...brutal lyrics. See The Final Cut, the Telling Truth, Justice In Murder, Gravemakers and Gunslingers.
Thanks user. Born in 84...95-05 had some great rock. I was 11-21. Great timing.

Well done, jannies. Who gives a fuck about Michael Hastings, Gary Webb, Dancing Israelis, veterans getting smeared nationwide with terror allegations for Google searches and draft emails to a nobody that's been dead for a year, and the complete disregard and disrespect for poverty-striken Whites by supposedly 'conservative' organizations. Those threads get archived with triple-digit replies in half the time and get archived or pruned.
I don't even give a shit if you have an agenda, but for Christ's sake could you be a little less fucking obvious?
