I've always observed these people doing this stuff, but never really been certain why. The whole "it's occult contract" never really rang true for me so I've always assumed it's just pure hubris, humor and demoralization. Your explanation do make a lot of sense. But it's a bit over the top for just that, no? I mean, go back to some big events like 911, with black boxes being vaporized but passports wafting down and landing on the debris. Very few people buy it. I'm actually uncertain if I've ever met a person who don't question the narrative of 911 when talking privately and in confidence. The difference in peasant attitude as far as I can see is more whether they are oversocialized and pretend to believe in official groups because that's what they feel is expected, and the ones who don't. So while I find your theory plausible and will take it with me in my considerations, it might also be possible that this whole procedure has value as a demoralizing agent. When they can signal to which degree they control the official narrative, and are not called out even though most people do understand at least in a rudimentary way the problems with a lot of it, they are displaying power. I'm pretty sure a lot of people who would work against this give up in the face of such a thing.
