Bump.
So Canada's health care is shit then?

It's the best in the world, envy of everyone else. When will Amerifats realize that socialized healthcare is the future?

If lack of access to quality care is the future, you can miss us with that shit.

Yes it's absolute garbage. Waited eight hours in the ER to get five stitches on my face. I asked to come back later and they said if I did, they'd refuse to stitch it because it would already be scabbed over. And yeah, it was.

>Why don't you get socialized healthcare, goy?

but i was told by Bernie that single payer universal healthcare was the best?
how could he have lied to me?

Attached: 4fe7ef599e4989ef0e92c34a64aacca58e4d66e73fcb7bff02d8d88a8d7130e1.jpg (735x1024, 500K)

Minorities like chinks and beaners take advantage of these systems until they collapse under their own weight.

i live in literal nowhere and I have to wait 3 hours minimum in emergency, even at 3am offhours

i have to pay for blood tests

the ohip+ hasnt covered any prescription where as welfare recipient medical plans seem to do a fine job at covering everything

id pay in a heartbeat

That's the toss up.
Long waits for government approved substandard care.
Or immediate access to a shortlist of insurance approved treatments and big bills for anything outside of that.

Americans crossing borders for gibs healthcare.
Highest immigration levels in wwstern world.
>Muh socialism is bad Hurr Durr

Yep, I confirm. It's shit.

>worst ER/ referral wait
our system is corrupted to the bone and bleed money
the whole thing should be bleach cleansed

If we let private enterprise handle healthcare, and eliminated all taxes and most regulations, healthcare would be abundant, fast, and affordable for most people.

I'm for universal healthcare i just hate dickheads who say it's fucking free

It will only get worse, too. This is how socialism works. All you have to look forward to is further deterioration of your healthcare system, until you flee in desperation.

UK seems the worst, watched those Ambulance shows there. Paramedics have to a do a shift at the hospital for all the beds in the corridor

People calling and waiting 2 hours

sounds like it wasnt that bad then. should of went to the pharmacy and bought medical glue.

Back 10 years or so ago, Shattered my growth plate on my left leg, a second fracture down the side & at the ankle, aswell as multiple hairline fractures throughout my foot.

>wait 20 minutes for ambulance
>sit on gerny for 30 minutes waiting for transport
>spend 2 hours in hospital hallway on said gerny
>finally a room, get given over the counter tylenol 2's, once in seven hours
>Xray tech shows up (it's been 9 1/2 hours)
>Doc shows up 1 hour later, First time in 10 1/2 hours I get a "yeah its broken"
>We cant deal with fractures at this hospital, we dont have a room or transport, you will have to go home for the night

Aside from the hell of getting home, being only given tylenol 2's, having a leg that looks like two watermelons held together by a brick, I get to the fracture clinic 2 days later to have a cast thrown on/prescribed actual painkillers.

Yes the American system is flawed. Yes you pay out the ass. Yes you pay high premiums.

I'd switch in a heartbeat.

>most
>1/2 of minorities and 1/2 of boomers are on government healthcare because they dont work and have little income.

It's fucking trash.
My mom broke her arm a couple years ago, she waited for more than 4 hours before they treated her. But the cast was done so poorly that it didn't properly heal, so she had to do a surgery.

>ITT: Retards who don't know how emergency rooms work
Yeah no matter where you are the wait times don't work like the line at the supermarket. Emergency Rooms are usually crowded since in most countries they're just used as 24/7 Urgent Cares and due to hospitals wanting to save money as well as other factors, understaffing happens. So to maximize logistics they have the wait times work by who is in the most need. Sorry to say Old Man Jenkins having Heart Issues and looking like he's about to pass out and die is going to be put above the list above you who came in because he got the flu or his head hurts or some stupid shit. Factor in also that lots of homeless people come in faking illnesses saying they have shit like a Cold or whatever so they can wait several hours to sleep in the waiting room too because it's better than sleeping in the streets. So yeah understaffing and budget cuts mixed with overcrowding from people with minor shit and homeless people create long wait times. Wow what a revelation right?

Damn, and Canada doesn't even have illegal wetbacks who came to get a flu shot filling their emergency rooms. I guess they just don't have any doctors?

It's been like that for years. Greatest healthcare in the world.... if you can stay alive long enough to get your turn.

>calling the ambulance for a broken leg
Something 80% of americans would not do.
Ambulances are for people literally dying and homeless people.
It's like 3,000 for a ride.

>tfw I dislocated my shoulder and had to wait 6 hours experiencing the worst pain I had ever had
>tfw they put me under to pop it back in and I wake up to a hot nurse with her tits in my face
almost worth it

Wow you typed all that up but didn’t have the balls to show your real flag. Must be a Canadian

Post tax returns

>Wait times:

Orthopaedic surgery averages 41.7 weeks
CT scans are 4.1 weeks
MRI is 10.8 weeks
Ultrasound is 3.9 weeks
medical oncology is 3.2 weeks
radiation oncology is 3.9 weeks
elective cardiovascular is 11.7 weeks
neurosurgery is 32.9 weeks
opthamalogy is 31.4 weeks
plastic surgery is 26.5weeks
gynaecology is 22.5 weeks
otolaryngology is 20.7 weeks
General surgery is 13.1 weeks
urology is 14.6 weeks
internal medicine is 15.6 weeks
also depends on province
for example, BC waits 24 weeks for an MRI
The national average for a hip replacement according to the Canadian government is 27.5 weeks
these are also medians
In certain provinces, patients can routinely expect to wait more than a year to receive orthopedic surgery

the wait times are trash. I waited 12 hours to get my thumb stitched up. 12 fucking hours, while fucking white trash niggers with colds we're getting ahead of me.

>waiting 4 hours vs going broke

hmmm.

That's why you look into reviews of the hospital you go to before you go unless it's a big life or death emergency or it's just the only hospital around. Even here in the US Hospitals tend to have issues. In fact Medical Malpractice kills over 250,000 people every year here due to medical staff fucking up usually by not cleaning things properly and causing infections among other things.

here is my real flag nigger

Oh wow it’s even worse. It’s a Californian

Shit I didnt realise it was that much, Ambulance fees arent covered here under most insurance plans (unless you're a boomer on the old system), Average as far as I know is around 60-100$ per ride.

Do some insurance plans cover ambulance fees down there?

The medical malpractice translates to foreign doctors buying their way into an American medical license. As well as a flood of inexperienced nursing staff constantly being cycled in and out of various clinics and hospitals by big staffing agencies

People are so deluded it's almost comical
>Have to wait. 4h? You were a child or eldery. Usually it's more like 7 if you go to ER.
>Try to schedule an appointment
>better call at 4-5ham or it's full for the day and the next 4 weeks
>Just get prescribed something, take your doc note and off you go as fast as possible
>Doctors get paid absurd amounts of money

But hey
>It's free guys
Yes, of course, you absolute retards.
Having a standard 20$ visit fee for hospital would already help

OP, what is it like 650,000 Americans who go bankrupt because of medical cost in the United States every year? Good luck with that fellow.

Maybe Israel can help out by forfeiting the $38 billion a year you cucks keep giving them.

Attached: 1551464064720.jpg (1024x1011, 201K)

I haven’t seen an actual doctor in years. I know that’s something I shouldn’t be proud however insurance is so fucked thanks to Obama

That's what happens when healthcare is free, every shitstain with a cold goes to the doctor, cuz hey, they are unemployed with nothing better to do.

The worst ones are shitskin that take their kids to the doctor because of a cold. It's a fucking cold, if your child dies over it then maybe your genes are trash

You can thank our 40 something to 1 congress vote to pass that bill.

>I haven’t seen an actual doctor in years.

Duh. I have two family members living in the United States and they tell me all the time they never go to a doctor because they can't afford it.

It’s becoming increasingly frustrating that millions of foreigners that can’t even speak proper English benefit from my taxes than my own family in this country.

Attached: E5DFD4BB-E232-4934-945D-DF4EC65BFC2E.png (500x733, 198K)

Meh, last doctor I saw walked in an showed me a Wikipedia article she was reading on her iPhone about what the lab results found.
Turns out as I waited 7.5h in ER, I could've died due to my kidneys getting clogged and bursting.
>I only showed up to ER because I drank the night before, did speed and my arms were sore to the point that I could not lift anything. Boss wanted a doctor note.

>Maybe Israel can help out by forfeiting the $38 billion a year you cucks keep giving them.

so just spend 38billion on randoms and forgiving their debts?

user that’s just horrifying and I hope you don’t do that again, if not for your sake than for an American that believes you’re better than that

Attached: 11B82DD3-36E3-42BF-946E-1A73BA52FAF7.gif (540x400, 1.97M)

Ya, you got to an ER here and it's 90% pajeets in pajeet clothing

are you retarded?
We don't live in a place with fucking 10 hospitals around for us to choose.

Depending on your insurance provider here, you don’t even get to choose which hospital you go to either

>meme flag
>b-b-but it's emergency rooms
>Ignores that the wait times are also crap IN COMPARISON to other countries.
You can fuck off now.

I'm sorry for me a stranger from another country, not knowing you live an area that doesn't have more than 1 hospital nearby.

>what is it like 650,000 Americans who go bankrupt because of medical cost in the United States every year
Who told you that? The same kikes from your graphic?

>29% of Canadians had to wait four hours or longer before being seen by a practitioner during their most recent emergency department visit

Lets be honest how "urgent" is any of this? Some Pajeet needs a bandaid?

You've got to realize those figures are ridiculous, right?

Yes, I'd rather die in my car or getting shot rather than in some ER.
Never did speed again, never went to hospital either.

This, the faggots that complain about "long wait times" are the ones coming in for the most meaningless stuff like "my knee hurts doc" or "I have a headache" and other dumb shit.

Kinda reminds me of how the UKs NHS scores really high on every metric- except actually keeping patients alive, where it's among the lowest of developed countries.

Unless it’s absolutely life threatening everybody waits in the ER. And they drone on way too long about the wait time when there’s no available staff to come out and tell them to eat aspirin

t. Former hospital night shift security officer.

>keeping patients alive
not doubting you, but can you post links?

Shit like this is why I have serious misgivings about single-payer.
Way too easy to end up with a system where the rich still get great access to healthcare, but everyone else gets crapped on.
Even from a socialist perspective, you can't call that a success.
There's gotta be a better way.

Unironically make insurance companies have to compete country wide again.

That's because they're so polite.
>you first
>no you first
>no you first

True, but now explain why it's shittier in Canada than other countries.

Canadian ERs have terribly long wait times. Most of the people in there are TFWs or immigrants. They clog up the system. Unless you are bleeding profusely you ain't gonna be seen. I've been on 8+ hour waits for stitches and multi day waits for a broken bone.

>medical oncology is 3.2 weeks
>radiation oncology is 3.9 weeks
The fuck? When my grandmother got diagnosed with thyroid cancer, the only wait on treatment was what it took to run some bloodwork and make sure she wasn't going to have a reaction to any of the drugs involved.that were involved.

Unironically this

>he doesn't self-injure himself and bleed all over the seat and floor in the waiting room to get advanced preference
Learn how to hospital.

Can some burgerbro weigh in on the costs of medical insurance.
I'm doing math on a fag packet and recon the wife and I spend $1250 a month for us and the brat, how does this compare?

Understaffing and overcrowding to save money is my guess to be honest. Though that's been an issue for lots of country's hospital systems as of late but Canada could have it the worse. I mean it also depends on those in charge of said hospital too.

it's not shit if you're young and healthy

works perfectly fine imo.

>i have to pay for blood tests
Last time i tired to get blood tests they said no, i said ill pay 100 dollars they said no, then i got mad and security escorted me out

That's not just Canadian Hospitals that have issues like that. US Hospitals have similar issues though not because of immigrants but because of Homeless People looking for a place to sleep and retards who don't know what Tylenol is clogging up the system and overcrowding the place. You also have to deal with the fact across many countries of druggies faking pain to get pills too so naturally especially in North America, they aren't going to put people in massive pain on the top of the list since for every 1 person actually in pain, you have 5 others faking it for drugs.

When I broke my wrist they basically wrapped it with that stretchy-band thing and booked an appointment for me to come in 2 days later to get a cast put on. Even with an appointment I still had to wait a few hours.

This is my local hospital, i didnt know it was bad until i read this article, guess they got good hospitals in (((alberta))))

cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/edmonton-woman-recalls-vg-experience-1.3409167

they moved to private or states so we just have poo in loo or muzlim doctors

It took my 2 months to get a cast on my broken wrist

bullshit bud. lying sack of shit

i got ct scan in 3 weeks, Ha!!

We have 3 hospitals serving a few hundred thousand people and they compete for ER wait times most advertise 10-18 minutes but it is kind of bullshit because that is just basic intake who knows when you will see the real doctor

Canada has too many people “getting sick or hurt” and not enough “””doctors””” to tell them to eat a bottle of Tylenol. If I’m not mistaken though Canada does still have some form of private medical care

Cat scan was a 2 month wait when it was obviosly broken from a 2 story fall onto cement

kek any healthcare system works for the healthy.

except that commie ones like you or mine dont, really, since they rob us of our financial future with fucked up taxes and reduced opportunities, and will long since been brought to ruins by the hordes of negative-human-capital trash before we ever get to really need them, much like our commie ponzi pension schemes

it's the doctors trying to take over the system
my doctor is in a strip mall. you can't phone or email. you have to go there to make an appointment

Attached: 11377129_377891525734082_3814919793007449897_n.jpg (600x450, 37K)

In California it's not unusual to get referred for an MRI or CT, make an appointment, and get it done on the same day.

todayonline.com/singapore/spores-healthcare-system-best-value-and-satisfaction-falls-behind-providing-access-study

How can wh*toids even compete.

My parents are both Canadian’s who were health care professionals. They moved to the US because they could make a lot more money here. They moved to the Deep South and had a family. I was pretty much forced to spend my whole life around niggers because of Canada’s fucked up healthcare system.

Walk-in-clinics are terrible, and even if you have a family doctor, set appointments are rarely ever on time. Every time I have my regular check up with my family doctor, the meeting always happens hours after the expected appointment. I now have to call-in sick just to ensure I have my appointment at all. Last time, I scheduled my appointment at 7:30 AM, didn't leave the clinic until 5:00 PM.

it's not just ontario and it's not just about fees.

they want to control the health care system

Attached: Screenshot at 2019-03-01 23-01-41.png (571x731, 84K)

Privatization as a second option to allow a two stream of traffic is ideal. The problem is Canada opposes privatization at all. The few privatized clinics that are around are constantly in legal battles to remain open.

What about hip or knee replacement surgery? Up here we were breaking 1100 days wait time

>Invite shit skins to live in your country
>Surprised that abuse your health services, because they don't want to pay to visit a G.P
>Masses of them arrive in winter, with simple colds.

I worked in a hospital in NZ and all I saw was non whites abusing the system. Not only that, all their relatives turn up and clog the wards/emergency depts.

it's unconstitutional. can't remember the law but it's not allowed
you can buy insurance and go to private clinics tho

Attached: Screenshot at 2019-03-01 23-10-48.png (582x339, 47K)

How dare those fucking Doctors, who sacrifice a decade or more of their life to become Doctors, not be satisfied with what the government decides to pay them?
How dare they request to make the patient care decisions rather than some untrained government diversity hire?

IIRC Quebec's public system was so terrible that a court ruled that banning private alternatives was a human rights violation.

Man even with appointments you're looking at a few hours to see a doctor in a hospital. 2-4x that for any specialist
