I can accept him not accomplishing much within our System, but shifting to Conservatism, Inc. on so many issues is what I cannot accept. He needs to fight and ceaselessly point the finger at the globalist elite (much like he did on the campaign trail) for blocking required reform. This would open countless peoples' eyes to the necessity of fundamental, revolutionary change.

And maybe that thing we have done that is wrong is very meta, and is integrated into other ideas. For example, maybe we got too tolerant. So many whites are locked into bourgeois materialism, love of peace and comfort, etc. This includes virtually the whole of the post WWII "Right", and is the reason it has constantly failed. Most people simply imbibe the values they're raised in, and are largely incapable of slowly thinking/de-conditioning themselves out of it. When thinking of the radical Right, I used to get this mixture of feeling fearful, dirty, anxious, etc. We are shaped on a sub-rational, emotional level by the culture in which we're raised. Constant thought and study made me push through it, and see that the radical Right is correct. Most normies cannot, and/or will not, undergo this process, especially older ones, who have been conditioned longer, who have become more accustomed to the Hive Mind. Young white men have to be attracted to a Right wing intellectual culture, through impressive intellectual writings and aesthetics. A different, immeasurably superior conditioning, to the ones provided by the elite of today's West has to be dispensed.

That won't change anything for the better because most will still seek the solution through the system therefore fail. And those pretending they have a solution that bypasses the system are lying and anyone with half a brain can see it. "Right" or "Left" aren't defined by morality, it matters very little.
Everything is connected, by simply driving your car downtown to the grocery store to spend the money you worked for, you are contributing. Be honest with yourself, and tell me how would your ideal world play out?

I have no doubt that modern times mirror previous human experiences. The Romans became weak and decadent after they conquered all surrounding nations and began to survive only on the plunder stolen by their armies. is that so different from the petrodollar and our economic imperialism? Are we also not 'victims' of our success? The greatest generation came home after winning WWII and raised boomers wanting them to have all possible fruits and opportunities in a world refashioned. We here know how that turned out. I guess the only thing that is new now is how divorced people can be from reality. Most people don't really 'get' death or sickness. Nobody starves. The entire history of history has been of people struggling to build this world of wonder and wealth.

Maybe our culture is what results. But maybe this defeatest statement is wrong and a cop-out. Maybe the problems of this age are the parasites and exploiters (including ideological).

Systems have been overthrown, new elites and new values have been installed. I don't see any other way out of all this. The way I make sense of our current world is fundamentally top-down. A small elite (Money, those holding the massively concentrated wealth and control naturally produced under capitalism, which they naturally use to pursue their ends across all institutions, shaping and controlling them, and ALL of which rely on money as their life blood) conditions the quite cattle-like masses, cradle to grave. If it were the values from Lycurgan Sparta being passed downward, we'd have a wildly different world. I read somewhere that, in the midst of the Vatican II collapse of the Catholic Church and the hedonistic 1970's, the appearance of the popular movie The Exorcist caused a short, massive rise in attendance at confessions and mass. Imagine if the entire culture in which the masses were immersed were along the lines of The Exorcist. Again, I think we'd be living in a wildly different world.

The current world order is pretty different since post civil war. If the current age rhymes with a much earlier time I think that points to the problems being deeper. But then again there were the bread and circuses and currency devaluation. Maybe the tools of the elite to control the masses are the same and we are just in another cycle.

I just don't buy 'the cattle-like masses' as just being pawns. People choose what to believe, and certainly in an age as wealthy as this people have much agency to learn and become what they wish. If it is popular or at least acceptable to sit on your ass, drink pepsi, watch tv and grow to 500lb and people are choosing to do that rather than get out and jog. The individual sloth is a good example of why I would look for a bottom up problem. Nobody forces that bag of chips down some fatties throat.

Thinking further, this is exactly what makes meme warfare so useful, and on the opposite side of that is the political correct or relativism that says how dare you be critical of someone else. Maybe all of the tools to build a better age are right here, but instead of worrying about which particular asshole gets elected you do your best to build your opponent into a self-reliant responsible human being that enjoys going out shooting on weekends. And apparently shame is one perfectly good way of doing that given how hard political correctness is pushed.

I just don't see much independent thinking, deep questioning and probing, in the vast majority of people. For the mass of men, as long as they're fed and entertained, they'll absorb what they're taught, and obey the reigning elite. I think we just need to hope for a combination of sharp, mass suffering bringing mass willingness for revolution and for new elites and new ideas and organization, and for a Right wing elite, which has appealed to a sufficient number of the masses, ready to aggressively kick over a teetering elite class and impose a new system. I think we're in agreement here. Having a positive impact on family and friends is central. As for the wider political scene, I think most of the American altright/Dissident Right scene is worthless. I think the German Conservative Revolution intellectual scene, with their Herrenklubs in which men like Moeller van den Bruck and Spengler exchanged ideas is whats required. This draws the attention of highly intelligent, educated, successful, serious, influential people. A sophisticated, cultured, respectful community of thinking Western men exchanging ideas is extremely positive even without the potential impact it could have on the wider world.
