You are both probably correct. I have always been an outcast. I was never athletic enough to be a jock, I wasn't academic enough to be a nerd and I wasn't edgy enough to be a skater. It sucked to me to be honest. I grew up in a christian house, which was pretty strict. So, I was a very sheltered child. I hated having to go to church three times a week my entire life, until I moved out at the age of 20. There were cool things about the 90's I guess. I think the degeneracy in music influenced our entire culture. MTV kinda fucked everything up. NWA and gansta rap made gang related violence skyrocket. I wasn't into the rap scene though. I listened to alternative music. But as an adult, I realize how degenerate that shit is. It's pushed the drug culture, and helped break down the home. Which is why we have the problems we do today. It all starts in the home.
