No fap, also makeshift /SIG/ thread

Day 2, deleted my porn folder. I did pushups yesterday whenever I had any thoughts that I couldn't control. Ended the night by getting some groceries and buying some flowers for my wife. She liked them.

Hoping I get less urges as time goes on.

go to Jow Forums

Okay, maybe they can give some advice on what workouts would help strengthen my back or alleviate my sciatica pain.

Dead lifts are good for overall upper body, back and leg strength, but if you have back pain I'd recommend starting on a low weight, focusing more on reps than weights for a few months. Focus on your form.Pain is your body's way of telling you somethings wrong, if you feel pain in your back, stop for the day.

>Hoping I get less urges as time goes on.
The urge to spread your seed only gets stronger the longer you do nofap. At least you have a wife to help you take care of your eventual problem of perpetual erections.

Sorry OP that ant-size picture was killing me

thanks

Wtf kind of greenhouse is this? Is it dug into a hill? Is it built curved?

that's what's up. Porn is the way the devil destroys your soul

no they wont, they will call you a manlet tranny DYEL faggot.

You got a wife, leaf. Why were you fapping in the first place?
Anyhow, i wish you luck fighting the porn-jew

Thanks user. This pic inspired me to start a sunken greenhouse. Its only a hole in the ground right now.
It is just a hole in the ground. In winter the ground heat helps with insulation and in the summer heat the ground will keep a cooler greenhouse.

also I just found out that this style is called a Walipini Greenhouse, for those interested to search for other designs

in the ground normally, I guess you can do different ways. The name walipini is central american for dug in

Jow Forums is about sluts, dick length, height and haircuts
It has nothing to do with fitness, health and self-improvement

>Walipini Greenhouse
Did not know this

Give me the greenpill please

If you have lower back pain during dead lifts you're either doing it wrong or you're masturbating too much which causes the lower back pain. Semen and bone marrow are related. Back pain the next day is normal. Back pain during workout is normal as well as long as it's not too extreme.

A wife doesn't mean shit she could be ugly af and even if she's pretty porn is still more addicting because anime and 3d.

you're already pathetic to have fallen this far. good for you for trying to turn it around though.

If only we all could be so discliplned.

Frail otter mode.

Based and redpilled

keep that attitude and you'll get happier every day, just fight the urge everyday

Wouldn't you need to wait a few months for the dirt to regenerate if you dig too deep? And why are there no nets on it? Is it better than the "classic" one? I have a spade, do you reckon I can build it in a month?

Here's a video I just watched. I like some aspects of Permaculture but some are a waste of time and energy. So this video fit that pretty well.

Pay a bobcat or excavation company to dig it. It will take a bobcat 3-5 hours to dig (took me 5 hours with my bobcat), the bill would have been about $300 if I had someone do it for me.

>you're already pathetic to have fallen this far
If you only knew how bad things really got. Been digging myself out of a self destruction shitstorm for 2 years now.

Ahh that wasn't worded right.
> I destroyed my life over trivial shit and have been working very hard for 2 years to clean up the mess I created
Thats more like it.

>$300
I'll just stick to my current greenhouse. Have you had both, though? Do you notice a difference in quality?

Its not up and running yet. I just want a greenhouse that works at minus 40. Thats where this comes in.

Oh, I forgot how cold Canada is. Do you have a pic of your current interior? Have you had experience with a garden before?

Planted my first field of potatoes on Friday (work on a farm), turns out you just plant full potatoes that are starting to sprout a bit and cover them over enough.
We had a device on the tractor that ploughs in front, and dropped a potato every 35cm using a kinda wheel with a hole in it to equally give the distance, each rotation requires manually refilling the wheel from a small box of potatoes in front. It's labour intensive but very cheap and quite accurate, we did it and had time to get the field covered with sheeting in one day. Here's a shitty drawing I made to help explain it lmao. Maybe you could get some ideas

Attached: badlydrawnpotatoTractor.png (1014x1372, 280K)

You can do it too, believe in yourself fren

Attached: mouth-breathing-affects-your-sleep.jpg (879x767, 103K)

Good for you, user. I hope they grow well. Isn't it a bit early though? Frost might kill them. Also, if you have ash, throw lots of it now and some after they grow a bit. Ash, besides being nutritious, is also a great pesticide.

not sure what the actual axels is connected to that makes it spin in the first place though, and we had a forklift attachments on a second tractor behind carrying pallets of boxes of full potatoes and taking away the empty ones

yeah that's why we put the sheeting like pic related over every row immediately after, farmer says it should keep them a few degrees warmer, not sure what it's actually called or made from though

Just my first real garden last year. The growing season was really short and that's when I started looking into greenhouses for an early start. Then deciding on a year round greenhouse just to see if I could do it cheap. When I was a kid my mom had a huge garden and a strawberry farm that kept me busy.

Nylon, most likely. That's what we put here. You keep it until it sprouts. Same is done for tomatoes and any other vegetables you plant early. It keeps moisture and prevents freezing.

good to know user, will try with my first attempt at a private tomato patch at some point in the future, want to try a few heirloom types

You have already failed when you believe women are meant for more than just simple breeding. BAKA...

truth. at least now. Jow Forums leaking hasn't helped either. back when there were legit self people encouraging self-improvement it was a great place to learn some stuff but now it's just a shitshow. shame. if u can get screencaps of oldfit you'll see what i mean.

Did you get anything for her son? A Captain Marvel doll perhaps?

But what about after? Since we are not having more children

A greenhouse alone can save you about 70-90% of the money you would normally spend on vegetables. A few beginner tips:
Tomatoes, when they start giving fruit, can break and fall. Instead of putting a "stick" on each one and tying to it, it is better to have one horizontal ceiling pole and tie them all up there.
If you plant carrots, do NOT try to clear them of weeds. You will simply rip out the carrots. Leave them be, in autumn take them out and they will be just fine.
Potatoes demand a lot of water to be big, I mean a LOT.
Ash is a great pesticide, but besides that bordeaux stew is good as well. It is literally just lime and copper, and is far better and healthier compared to the store ones.
Cucumbers need nets, and you need to run wires through the nets, otherwise they will break and fall.
Beans and peas require heavily base land, so if it's acidic don't even bother.
Throw powdered lime now, calcium is highly needed for most vegetables.

Thanks. Any tips on peppers?

Oh and yeah, if you plant tomatoes in a single row, it is better to give them a distance of 50-60cm. Most will tell you 70+, but when they are close they are better protected against diseases.

Nothing specifically. Like all paprika, they have a strong base, but if they grow too tall just tie them like the tomatoes. If you re-plant them, it is best when they are about 20cm tall. When you do re-plant them, feel free to dig it in deep. Grab a thin stick, poke deep holes, and plant them deep so that the leaves are just a few cm above ground. If you don't do this they will fall out of the ground and unroot.

10 days no fap here, first time committing to no fap other than taking a few days break. I want to go 30 days at the least. I don't even get random erections, porn ruined me.

user, where can I purchase property in Germany so that I can farm, raise/hunt animals and just live in relative peace with my family? I can't stand the urban multicultural lifestyle in Brazil, there is no future in this quasi-communist state, not even away from the cities.
I have german citizenship and I plan to return to the fatherland in the next couple of years. Saxony seems like the best choice if I want to live closer to nature and around people who aren't totally cucked..
I would appreciate your input

never abandon the struggle for greatness and independece

nice idea dude, I had my first look inside a huge commercial greenhouse at the weekend, they heated by having white painted pipes along the walls and ceilings that constantly ran hot water. Maybe you could add that in powered by the rocket stove. It might freeze when the stove isn't on though, so not sure for how it would work Canada. Maybe you can just drain it on very cold winter nights to stop them bursting, or put enough fuel in the stove to run it through the night. Using it in a dug out greenhouse should work extremely well though

have a look here for extra ideas, they have nice little explanations on how each part works

Addendum from someone who does hobby farming:
1. You can grow tomatoes easily your first year. Your second year, you'd better have some manner of pesticide. The caterpillars WILL find it, and they WILL eat your plants in perpetuity.
2. You can technically live entirely on baked potatoes and butter, as that supplies virtually everything your body needs. SO, if you're wanting to truly off-grid, learn to create potato boxes and raise some goats.

If you get goats, get two, and keep your valuable plants fenced off because the little bastards will eat everything including the bark off of trees.

> goats
Yep, I want the Tennessee Fainting Goats. You barely need a fence since they faint when they get excited about jumping over the fence.

For pesticides, I already stated bordeaux stew. (((Wikipedia))) says it's bad for you goyim, but I've been using it for years and it is, hands down, the best pesticide of all. My issue is something called plamenjaca, which is a fungus. It repels everything from ants and grasshoppers, across all forms of fungi, to caterpillars and sheep. Seriously, animals sense copper and avoid eating those plants. I use it on the garden, the orchard, and the vineyard. You should, however, spray it at least once a month inside, and the same outside + after every rain.
Goats I never kept (the smell), but seeing my neighbours' ones, they tend to jump and climb onto everything.

I live in southern Baden-Württemberg, very close to the Swiss border actually, it's fucking beautiful here and very agrarian, but pretty much anywhere in the south would be good, Bayern too I guess.
The soil quality here is generally good here, and can be very rural for peace and quiet, still lots of tradition (and real Germans) left here. I don't know about Saxony though
I'm on an apprenticeship right now living and working on a biodynamic farm, demeter certified, we use no pesticides or insecticides at all, and the only fertilizer is our cow shit and waste vegetables, yet we get very good yield still, even if the main farmer is too fucking stingy to buy bug netting to help protect crops lmao

fuck, i alsmost ruined my streak yesetrday. Watched porn but resisted the temptation.

94 days no fap and counting.

Crazy, I couldn't imagine 94 days

Thanks for the advice
I guess I was always turned off by southern germany since I've heard people in München are too elitist and the pictures of multicultural oktoberfest make me sick lol, but the countryside must be better off, I will look into this.
Best of luck with your apprenticeship, you are on the right path

>I live in southern Baden-Württemberg, very close to the Swiss border actually, it's fucking beautiful here and very agrarian
Jealous. My extended family is in Saxon-Anhalt, but they have nearly zero contact with the America branch anymore. Those links died with my grandparents.

German farmland is a lot more /cozy/ looking than American, unless in the mountains. You have smaller plots out there and land is much more expensive, but your community culture is far superior. In Germany from the rural regions you can be in a major city in 30 minutes. In America if you're in a rural area, you can expect several hours' drive to anywhere important. It gets worse if you're in the middle of the country. So basically if you want to homestead, it's for off-grid purposes, because there's no economy outside of the cities.

that's true, the next city to me is indeed about 30 mins away in any direction (as if ~20k population old medieval walled towns really counts as 'cities' realistically anyway these days), and yes the people here are very nice. Once you get to know the neighbours, they will pretty much help you with anything as long as you do the same with them when asked, and bring cakes sometimes :D

/cozy/ doesn't even describe it, friend
