We have a VW plant in my town, a lot of people work at it. It's a terrible job (they keep you on probation for years so they can fire you over anything) but the pay is pretty good if you didn't go to college trade school and the benefits are really good too.

Because shipping cars all over the world from Germany is expensive so they build them in regions they sell in to avoid export costs.

I literally don't give a shit about Smrdija, VW care are overpriced garbage with shoddy build quality considering the price.

exactly, the factory is simply a Trojan Horse to “pacify” the Serbian people. The EU have worked out that after 25 years of simply offering Serbia “the stick” they have to offer a carrot as well. This strategy is being watched very closely by Western Liberals and they will test its efficacy by creating a crisis, not too big, but just enough to credibly test this new strategy.
