Carjacking attempt abandoned after mutt realizes car is stick shift

Why are burgers so afraid of driving stick? Is the concept of a clutch pedal and a gear selector really too much for their feeble minds?

depending on the car that was very smart on the thief's part. Manual's lower the resale value on everything but high end cars and antiques.

3 of my 5 cars are manual. I don’t think you know what you’re talking about

Stick is a great anti-theft device nowadays now that everyone is used to automatic, this isn't news

Drivers Ed programs use automatic cars and most people dont bother learning anything else. My grandpappy taught me cause I was using his vehicle when I was 15-17 but i'm probably never gonna drive one again

I drive a 6spd WRX and my wife is buying a manual crosstrek. You have to go out of your way to buy and learn manual if you were born before 1990. You're parents probably didn't care about cars as they're just a way to get around. I watched initial D and shit so I became a car guy.

show flag you gay

car theives here are almost always nig, nigs barely know how to drive let alone drive stick

I love automatics. People should learn to drive stick just to realize how awesome automatics are. Shifting sucks.

I enjoy to use manual. There is more control over the engine.

I can eat fastfood while driving a stick but most amerimutts truly are sub 90 IQ. I know boomers had tetraethyl lead, but Late boomers to Gen X just straight up did not raise their kids at all, and they are either perpetual children or incapable of reading.

I challenge you to redline your automatic for maximum acceleration and to soak the panties of your female passenger

Protip: you can't

The forbidden technique: Burger style;Palm shift.

>3 of my 5 cars

Once you go manual, you can't go back to autotragic

look at this fucking pleb

Modern cars are more efficient/fast and accelerate better with an automatic.
Manuals have become a meme
And then there are the brainlets who buy a manual that have a drive by wire throttle.

>Why are burgers so afraid of driving stick?
I drive a manual. They aren't sold all that much any more, and there are only a few cars offered anymore that have it as an option.

>thinking a computer can do something better and more consistent than your foot
Is it 1992 is micheal jackson also still relevant?

I drive a manual every day you fucking mong of a eurocuck.

Afraid? I've simply never had one growing up and I'm not about to buy one at 29 just to learn how to drive it. I drive cross country too often to add in something else to think about

absolute nonsense.

automatics are better in some ways, standard better in others. how you use your vehicle determines which is best and it can change as your needs and interests change.

>imagine using a standard on a boat ramp
>imagine using an auto on a hobby track car

*cant

>imagine simply programming your car to perform the perfect shift
I agree its easy if you try

>exception disproves the rule

2nd this.

I recently bought a 2010 Corolla manual. The guy said his dealership (in a 250k+ population) had sold 4 manuals in the last year. Said they go like hot cakes (granted there's loads of dealerships around here anyway), but just not a lot of manuals are easy to get a hold of. Requires a bit of searching. I drive full time too which, personally, I'd ALMOST prefer automatic except I probably won't ever have to rebuild the gear box (aside from a possible 3rd gear synchro that makes noise when cold), but other than that. Beats tranny flushes every 60k.

>thinking a computer can do something better and more consistent than your foot
Here's the thing, the computer and I don't have the same goals. In most automatics they are tuned to shift for most fuel efficient acceleration. Sometimes you just want to accelerate, which you can do immediately with a manual, as opposed to waiting for an automatic to decide maybe it eventually wants to downshift... twice, then increase power from engine.
Drive any modern normal car and the auto transmission is awful. Manuals are only as bad as you are at it.

It's really not hard once you learn how.

I drive a car with a dual clutch but I would like to buy a manual sports car for the weekends.

Burgers I'll let you in on a secret, automatics here are mainly for girls however they are also considered a luxury with certain sport trims or luxury models being only available in automatic. So mainly, us euros are too poor to afford automatics and the cost of maintaining them.

I unironically drive manual pic related.
None of you fags could figure it out.

>mutt
I think nigger is the word your looking for europoor op

Grabbed a 2018 Mazda 3 in manual. Put 11000 miles on it in the first 3 months. Swell car, and I found several manual versions in the area, but I think that is particular to the 3.

>imagine using a standard on a boat ramp
>Not using your parking brake
>Not having hill assist
Automatics are for geriatrics. They're designed as an assist for disabled people who have difficulty operating a clutch. At the end of the day, only the driver knows what gear they need to be in, the automatic will always been limited by "guessing" what the appropriate gear it thinks the driver needs.
>Driving up slight grade
>Fine in current gear but just needs more throttle
>Automatic transmission decides to downshift for no reason
>Still same amount of throttle but at a lower gear with higher RPM for no reason

I can, it's called sequential shift mode you dingus.

>only the driver knows what gear they need to be in, the automatic will always been limited by "guessing" what the appropriate gear it thinks the driver needs.
Clearly you haven't driven a modern automatic.
They're better get over it.

Lol not true. My shitbox Outback Sport is worth somewhat more due to a 5MT

>Burgers
You mean niggers.
White Bois don't carjack.
And don't niggers burgers.
They don't qualify.
You have to be human first.

I drive manual because my friend went back to Europe and gave me his car free. It's a pain in traffic, but hey, it's a free car.

>shift denied
pahahahaha the absolute fucking STATE of autotragics

It literally takes 30 mins to learn stick shift. Women used to drive stick 70 years ago when the first cars came out.
>If you dont know stick, you are a faggot

>White Bois don't carjack.
You sure homie?

t. fast and furious wannabe

lol shitmaro

I BTF out of your argument. I also have a 1999 Evo 6, but for daily driving manual gets tedious in traffic.

They should start putting sticks on the shart carts so Americans can learn how to drive standard

>manual gets tedious in traffic

lazy fuck

That's a police sting. Leave keys in ignition inviting someone to steal it.
>Because you know, everybody has a camera mounted there.
I don't consider him white anyways.

>even theives don't want shitty manual cars

yup and here it's the opposite most people here associate manuals with high end performance cars or just performance in general
although that being said i daily a manual shitbox and i'll admit it's not sporty in any way but it sure feels sportier because manual
stupid i know but idc it's fun i just wish there where more twisty low traffic non-residential roads around here to have some fun on

None of you little faggots can outdrive a modern auto, why do you even try?
If it's not on a game controller or smartphone it's totally baffling to your generations.
Why do you need to shift anyway with your terrible physical shape and poor spatial awareness skills?

Hey, at least I don't have to go out into the rain to get a porn licence, britfag

I can drive stick, but it's pretty damn rare for most cars to have it post the year 2000 in the USA.

I’m surrounded by winding mountain roads and drive stick. Life is good

>mfw my grandma is a superior driver to most of the yanks on this board

I still don't understand what part of this is Jow Forums-related.

But in a crash between your grandma's 900cc Micra and a burger in a 7.0L V8 lifted truck, who wins?

What do you expect from the country that thinks driving in a straight line is cool.

I learned stick for necessities' sake. Those who prefer it need a better personality.

Because no one wants to hang out on those other boards.
Anymore stupid questions?

>implying that is a bad thing
Lower resale value of manual transmission just means there are more great deals on used cars for me. Plus my wife can't drive my car. Win/win.

His lifted truck is compensating for his little dong.

>has never gotten joy from a perfect heel toe downshift as he hits the apex to a corner
You probably don't enjoy guns either

>size queen who can't help thinking about huge cocks constantly

Bazinga!

It is a bad thing if you’re the seller, dummy

spotted the fellow oldfag boomer. my dad had one of these that I learned to drive on.

I can't imagine living in a world where people think Rangers and Land Cruisers are 'big'.
The absolute state of non-Americans and their faggy little cars they call trucks.

Attached: 4x4MansTruck.jpg (599x380, 32K)

just for room temp iq mutts spics and niggers and basedcucks and dumb thots is manual transmission too hard

I would learn manual if I had a manual car. I've had two vehicles given to me, and they both were automatic. I can't complain. Why should I know how to drive manual? I get the concept, but it takes practice dude.

We aren't used to holding a black bulls dick and putting it back in our wife, you faggot french bitch

Don't be a dummy and only buy low mileage used cars in like new condition. Let some other retard take the loss. Just do your homework and inspect the car before buying.

I've never driven a manual car but I can drive pic related

15 year old shitboxes are more expensive as manual here in Australia because people want to buy them as a learner

if you're the seller you lose no matter what let's be fucking real here

Whoop I meant this
youtu.be/Gk2et8_FIwU?t=269

I learned stick by driving tractors and heavy equipment. Don't mind automatics for driving, nor do I prefer either.
Any man should be able to operate a manual though. Absolutely.

I learned how to use clutch and gear selection on a tractor when I was a kid.
First time in a stick it was like second nature.

I was taught to drive in an auto and never learned stick. Tried teaching myself once and failed miserably.

No, idk wut your talking about. I know how to drive stick and know quite a few people who know how to drive stick. It’s impractical to a manual in an urban area though. Idk why you eurofags are so eager to “progress” in you political polices, but not your transmissions

>It’s impractical to a manual in an urban area though

Once you reach European levels of Manual driving skill, you can do it completely without thinking, in effect making it automatic. So no it isn't impractical.

I learned to plow when I was 8 years old.
Also nothing sexier than a qt driving down the road with her in a ponytail and titties bouncing.
>Things that none of these basement dwellers have experienced.

I don't have access to a manual to practice. And I'm not going to buy one I can't test drive. Borrowed a manual from the mechanic while he was fixing my car and went straight home and even then I managed to stall it once. Unless I'm willing to pay out a driving instructor and then keep paying him until I get my own manual so I don't forget then I'm not going to learn. It's all too much of a bother.

Its easy driving in traffic with a manual, but why would I? They made automatic transmission for a reason. As far as I’m concerned driving a manual is just for fun, I will say on a truck I prefer it though

Who taught you to use a computer?

>They made automatic transmission for a reason

Because people with sub 100IQ exist

same here man
t. sheepshagger

Why are you so fucking mad???

I love driving my manual mustang. Manuals are great, and let you stay in gear during curves when you don't want to shift. Also you can slow down with the transmission. It's a more fun experience.

Now if my car was an all out drag car it would be an automatic, because for straight line performance, nobody is outshifting an auto.

I even owned a Manual Silvia S14 when I lived in Japan with a shit ton of traffic. Everyone said it would be a bad decision. It really wasn't all that bad since the clutch was very easy to work.

Also, fuck you for hating manuals you fat bastard.
