I was "almost dead" once when young. Hypothermia. after the pain and numbness, i report clinically feeling a 50/50 feeling of "cold and clammy" and st the same time somehow "wet and warm", both at the same time. I knew I ws "probably" dying, and it felt exactly like going to sleep. At some point i *wanted* to just go to sleep and have it all over, and it seemed okay at the time, very peaceful. The "fighting it" period by that point was long gone. The other person ner recognized what i was going through, and got me up and moving long enough my body temp bounced back and i was okay. I had a friend "dead for couple minutes" on the road after a bad motorcycle accident. He reported "nothing", everything just went black, that it was iddentical to going to sleep. Neither of us reported any "experiences" of any kind. Clinically, its like going to sleep. No one cn tall you more that isnt making it up for whatever reason.
