The times of miracles, etc. was in reference to the apostles and other Christians during those times. Those were only for signs at the time, and ended back then. That's why Paul even had his own doctor traveling with him during the latter part of his life.

The apostles had the holy ghost and still were mixed up on a lot of things and still did not even do what God commanded them to do (staying in Jerusalem instead of going out of it, not wanting to be around gentiles when around the Jews, etc.)

When the Bible says the Holy Ghost will teach you all things, the things referenced are in regards to salvation, I am sure. That also does not mean a person won't stumble because of the flesh or deceivers.

Throughout the new testament, the Holy Ghost conflicts with the flesh. The flesh causes Christians to sin, be lazy, get confused, backslide, have doubts, do the opposite of the Holy Ghost, etc. So just as you have the Holy Ghost, you have the flesh, which is pretty much the opposite, and wars against the spirit. You can think of it as the old cliche of satan on one side of your shoulder and an angel on the other.

God has also sealed certain things from being understood by anyone, including Christians (see the sealed books in Revelation and Daniel).

I've been lurking pol for a year now. Was born and raised as an atheist,but lurking here made me ask myself a lot of questions. A week ago,just shortly after i lurked pol again i had to send an acquaintance of mine the luggage that his mother send him via me. There is lots that I disagree with you on, but how on earth can you argue that there is no hell? That's the foundational doctrine, one which shows what we are saved from. God goes so far as to call it flames, as a furnace, heat, etc. and describes its aspects, and describes during the judgement that them in it will be judged and cast into the lake of fire, also described as eternal punishment and eternal fire, and they have no rest day or night.
