The clothes we wear represent an unspoken message about who we are, our beliefs, what "tribes" we belong to, etc.
From military uniforms (the Nazis understood this aesthetic concept and embraced it) to team uniforms, to casual trends and counter-cultures throughout the centuries. This has always represented who we are. What then, do you think people think when they see people dressed like these two on the left?
What do you wear?
And if you don't care, why are you not taking care of your appearance? (And no I don't mean buying Supreme, Adidas, Nikes, etc.)
Indeed. But I travel frequently between the US and Germany, and so do Germans. The only exception is winter fashion. Occasionally Germany will have the edge here.
Zachary Bailey
you could also care less of how others perceive you. Takes a bit of confidence but it can be done.
Adam Carter
I wear at least a button up or sweater every day. If you're not wearing well fitting and decent clothing most women will subconsciously find you less attractive.
Jose Brown
Those are beautiful shoes. I have a pair of brown loafers and have been searching for a dark set similar to those. Do you have a link or name on these?
Jayden King
Confidence is one factor and factors in part to unspoken perception. But clothes are equally as important. And even if unconsciously, the close we deliberately choose to wear like posters on our bodies speaks volumes.
Josiah Carter
Dear Millenials/Zoomers,
Stop talking like women and dressing like women. That fixes 90%. The rest is lift.
On the left I see normal people who just want to live and have a good time. On the right a pretentious fuckwad from pol who spent five thousand dollars on his appearance so he can feel smug and superior.
Lincoln Hughes
I usually wear a shirt and a pair of chino trousers, id say that's fairly decent?
Liam Collins
I shop at the thrift store and have all gap and nice brands. Stop making excusing for being slime.
You absolutely are what you eat. What you wear. What think, say and do. Success is not a deed, it is habit.
Charles Phillips
they can speak volumes indeed, question is, why do you care in what volumes others perceive you? i get it if you're single, or going for a job you really want, but other then that? plain old vanity
Brayden Green
You don't need to spend a lot to dress smart. You NEED clothes somehow. So you have the option to either invest in a few pairs of shirt and pants that was produced in a Western country for example and will last you for a long time or buy the cheapest ugliest clothes made in china that will break down after a couple washes.
Cameron Mitchell
They are from Fratelli Rossetti. This is quite an expensive brand (around $500) but the construction is solid (goodyear welted) and the leather is very nice.
Look on Yoox, you can find some good deals from previous collections.
Christopher Scott
>why are you not taking care of your appearance
Because I’m comfortable with my jeans and T-shirt and comfortable with who I am and what I look like. Im not a faggot or a slave to pussy so I don’t give a fuck what fags like you think, and I def don’t give a fuck what some shallow cooze thinks. Why are you so empty and shallow that you’re obsessed with appearance? Besides the fact you like getting fisted?
And the Nazis were faggot uniform-fetishists who loved the smell and creak of old leather and played dress up in ostentatious uniforms with all their pathetic medals and war faggotry. Worse than a bunch of teenage girls making unboxing vids on YouTube.
Noah Mitchell
I am not an effete urbanite that travels by cab everywhere, why would I dress like one? That rules out both the basedboi video game click bait journalist look on the left, and the male model LARPING as a stock broker look on the right.
Logan Davis
always dress up for business. otherwise be your own man. no user may tell me what to wear.
Alexander Butler
Not exactly. There is a profound sense of self-perception tied to clothes. Whenever you wear a particular fashion, you tie yourself either outright or not to whatever group that tends to wear this style of clothing. It's a very tribal and almost spiritual thing.
I think it's vital that people dress the way they want others to perceive them and the way they want to perceive themselves.
Gavin Price
$500 for a pair of fucking shoes. Imagine the books you could buy with this?
Worse than a cunt you are.
Sebastian Diaz
>undercut >flannel shirt and WASP sweaters >jeans >clarks shoes
Typical
Kayden Reed
That's fine too and that's an aesthetic in itself. There are many in the country who adopt the sense of style in the left rather than one that is simple and rugged.
Steel to work boots, Jean's, flannel or hoodie. White or black plain T.
Chad apparel
Jason Harris
Yeah, when you're ugly, it just looks fucking weird. I have this issue with really greasy skin, and for some reason dressing up just makes it stick out. All the bumps and crevasses of my face seem so out of place in a suit and tie. Every asymmetrical feature, the creases and lines around my eyes, my crooked teeth. It's like I'm not meant to be a classy man.
Oliver Butler
Carhartt, Levi's, red wings.
Asher Russell
Because I was born a 10/10 and I hate the attention
Christopher Price
Because im balding so it doesnt fucking matter what i do
Josiah Hernandez
I'm not sure how this would be outside of western Europe but I wear a Harrington jacket, polo tops, red braces and of course Doc Martin's
Alexander Martin
Levi's are liberal and gay
Leo Evans
Then what pants are ok? What corporate cartel is not liberal and gay?
Isaac White
This exactly. The ladies might laugh, but deep down they know they like what they see. Stay classy, and don't forget a nice fedora.
