Now after a year has passed, the so called "welfare state" won't give me any support (no checks, no food stamps, nothing) after a year because I have 60k usd in the bank and I'm expected to spend those before getting any other support.
So I'm rich enough to survive on my own for a couple years but too poor to get a loan to buy a house of my own (because my income is very low as I can't work much anymore)
