I love military history and the Nazi war machine was fascinating and threateningly styled, but ultimately it ended up a nihilistic meat grinder for German lives, wasted by Hitler who was many things but not a brilliant strategist.

Beyond optics, which actually do matter if you care at all about positioning yourself to obtain power, there is an inherent death-worship throughout Jow Forums. The Nazis, Sky King, various shooters in the US, Ted... they're all interesting topics, but do you not feel like there is an underlying note of pessimism - assuming that things cannot be altered and expressing that frustration through vaunting people whose achievements were only death. Think about how gross the last 5-10 years has been. It's been a slide into the excessive end of liberalism.
