nothing went wrong. He had Steve Bannon to tell him what he should say to develop a core base. Steve Bannon's politics were basically pol's agenda, so this board jumped on board with Trump. Bannon was no use to Trump after the elections because Trump no longer needed to understand his base and was free to do as he pleases and so ditched Bannon. Trump is doing as he pleases, and pol got pumped and dumped like an easy slut.

He failed on delivering any of his campaign promises except for reducing taxes for the rich. Anyone with an IQ above 40 knew exactly that this was going to be his primary goal while in office.
He's also very likely becoming senile.
