What those stats are missing are WHO would be paying all the reparations.
Even if they're drawn from the public budget (eg., taxes), there's vastly more tax contributions per capita by whites than by blacks.

I think as far as the Japanese are concerned, an amount would be more easily quantifiable on a case by case basis, but as time goes on, the notion of reparations becomes more unachievable and unneeded.

Hundreds of thousands lost their lives fighting to end slavery. Even those who owned slaves effectively lost substantial portions of their wealth and property, which meant their demise.
No one has any money left over to pay people who themselves were never slaves. Sorry.
First of all. Who got reparations in the case of japanese? People who actually were interned into camps, the people suffering the injustice.
Why do native americans get reparations? Because they're an indigenous people trying to hold on to their culture, land and rights. They are ancestral claims, and every nation with a backbone recognizes indigenous cultures.
Who is getting reparations for black people? Nobody knows. Nobody who suffered slavery is alive. Who is black enough to get reparations? Shaun White? Why is this specific generation entitled to reparations? What about the next generation? How much? When will it stop?
