Only after the decisive battle that effectively set in stone where world war 2 was gonna go. the soviets defeated germany single handledy in the invasion of 1941. anything after that is irrelevant, they beat them fair and square, nobody could ever argue otherwise.

Hitler instructed the Japs to attack and conquer Vladivostok. The japs instead attacked pearl harbor. It was the single biggest mistake of the war. They would have conquered all of Europe and saved Mussolini as well. Second was Dunkirk, but Hitler did not want to unnecessarily kill fellow "aryans".

Soviets weren't subhumans. Subhuman was never used to describe races, just mental midgets, cowards and slackers, usually within Germany.
As for the question, the most powerful aryan army that existed wasn't even in the same ballpark in strength compared to the Red Army + Soviet Navy + Airforce.
Soviets had a way stronger army than Germany + Romania + Finland + Spain + Croatia + Hungary + Italy in 1941 when Operation Barbarossa was started. The two sides were not even comparable had they faced each other head on.

The only reason why 1941 went as it did was that Operation Barbarossa started before Operation Groza. The Soviets were so 100% geared and prepped for attack and not defense that it is impossible to describe it in just a few paragraphs.

But the best way of understanding 1941 is to compare the European side to to a pistol, while comparing the Soviet side to an Assault Rifle.
Both are good at killing things. The Assault Rifle is obviously stronger and more powerful. But what matters is who gets the first shot.
Stalin had x5 times the tanks, x4 times the subs and xGorrilion times the paratroopers, fuel, ammunition and raw materials. But he had placed all of it way up at the front line in preparation for the attack of Europe. He was so committed to the attack that he had literally tore down the Stalin-line behind him, which made the Maginot line look like a bump in the road in comparison.

But Europe attacked first. The situation was so bad for the defenders, the Soviets, that they lost 85% of their ammunition producing factories during the first days of the war - they had placed them all the way up at the border so the supply lines would be short for when the Soviets initiated Operation Groza, their attack on Europe.

All Stalin would have needed to avoid a war would have been to not accept the partition of Poland between them. After all, Soviet Union supplied nearly all of Germany's fuel and vital raw materials up to 1941. If Stalin had put his foot down while Germany and USSR did not share borders, war would have been impossible. But he didn't put his foot down.

No, without fuel supplies being sold from the Soviet Union to Germany this would have been impossible., Germany only had enough fuel to operate their tanks, aircrafts, vehicles and navy for 3 months out of every 1 years. You can have the best army in the world, but without fuel it is nothing. All Stalin would have said was "no, if you attack Poland or the Baltics you get no more fuel" - the war would have been over.

There would have been no German western offensive without Soviet oil, no Battle of France, No Battle of Britain. This is a fact.

So why did the Soviets supply Germany and help the National Socialists rise? Simple, there are several available speeches about this made by the communists themselves. USSR wanted the "capitalist pigs" to fight the "fascist swine" - to have them both tire themselves out over feuds based on the Versailles Treaty. Then Europe would have been ready for the taking by the gargantuan Red Army. Which, by the way, was increased from 1,8 million 5,8 million soldiers just between 1939 and 1941. This is a natural reaction. But it is worth asking yourself - what other options were there? While Hitler was a powerless young man speaking in beer cellars in Munich in 1922, Stalin was already the de facto leader of an Empire, with all the powers and knowledge that came with this. As for accepting the Soviet Unions supplies, it was a matter of choosing certain starvation and slavery enforced by the anglos and baguettes, or take a grasping what straws you could grasp to fight back.

As for the two other events, the attack on Poland and the attack on Soviet Union, it was the same - a choice between two evils.
In 1940, Hitler had the choice of letting the polish, who were mostly communist jewish NKVD agitators acting on the orders of Stalin, genocide the Germanic parts of polish-occupied Prussia, or attack and hope the UK and the French would show humanity.

In 1941, it was already much too late to change course. Stalin could have waltzed into Romania and cut off the little oil supplies that existed in Europe, or he could have unleashed his subs in the baltics on the supply-convoys bringing iron, nickel and trees from Sweden to Germany. Both cases would have lead to a total defeat of Germany within months.

Again, it is easy to feel anger towards the National Socialists for being tricked into the trap of WWII, but you have to keep in mind that Stalin was a true and unrivaled master of manipulation. But when do you feel Hitler started the World War? When Poland was attacked? Stalin made it impossible not to when he ordered the his communist NKVD agents to kill civilian Germans in polish-occupied Germany.

How could any leader have acted differently? If a small country next to you such as Macedonia had been given parts of Bulgaria, then started massacring the people in the old Bulgarian territory - which leader would not have acted with force? Hitler and the National Socialist government would have been hanged by their own people if they had not dealt with Poland and the situation Stalin created. They tried peaceful talks several times, but the French and the Brits wouldn't listen one bit.

Mind you, Stalin only arranged this whole thing to get a common border with Germany. Hitler dearly wanted the German territories back, sure, but there is absolutely no reason to believe he would have attempted to take eastern Prussia with force in 1940 if he had been denied. He just didn't have the strategic resources for this, and he knew it.Stalin could just have told he would stop selling supplies if Germany attacked Poland, and Germany could not even have dreamed of attacking Poland.

But that's not what happened. Stalin created a crisis, and led Hitler believe he was not responsible, and would agree to sharing Poland with him to solve it.
There are things Hitler are responsible for happening during WWII, but the start of the war is not one of them.
