Hey Jow Forums

Hey Jow Forums,
I want to discuss my politics. I cannot find a proper category for it. I want to know the category for research purposes. Those gay plots you fags post all the time aren't enough. I'm a capitalist who also agrees with the concept of The Tragedy of the commons, and I believe it is a substantial problem for our species. For the uneducated Cucks i will copy pasta from wikipedia. Also, climate change due to CO2 is unproven.
>The tragedy of the commons is a term used in environmental science to describe a situation in a shared-resource system where individual users acting independently according to their own self-interest behave contrary to the common good of all users by depleting or spoiling that resource through their collective action.

You're 15 and you just heard some shit in your AP Microecon class and want to get a second perspective on it. Congratulations, you learned a term and want to use it in common parlance! Bad news, the king's solution to the original tragedy of the commons and its legacy throughout history has lead to the exact same thing that the Luddites were saying was going to happen.

can you give me the answer i want?

You get the answer you got in the first question. The inclosure movement and all private property based on State discretion rather than homesteading and capability to defend has lead to the crisis of privation that you see before you, where one internationalist clique owns most of the land and controls all of the major working parts of a globalized economy. Sir Thomas More was right about this, Henry Tudor's inclosure fucked everyone to the benefit of the merchant class and the tragedy of the commons' cause was misunderstood.

>"But I do not think that this necessity of stealing arises only from hence; there is another cause of it, more peculiar to England." "What is that?" said the Cardinal. "The increase of pasture," said I, "by which your sheep, which are naturally mild, and easily kept in order, may be said now to devour men and unpeople, not only villages, but towns; for wherever it is found that the sheep of any soil yield a softer and richer wool than ordinary, there the nobility and gentry, and even those holy men, the abbots not contented with the old rents which their farms yielded, nor thinking it enough that they, living at their ease, do no good to the public, resolve to do it hurt instead of good. They stop the course of agriculture, destroying houses and towns – reserving only the churches – and enclose grounds that they may lodge their sheep in them."

I will reiterate my stance thusly: you only have what you are capable of defending. Surely, they are capable of defending much of their inclosed land with the ideas that march the feet of men, but without them they are incapable. You selling those ideas doesn't mean I will sell them. I'll stand right here with my soap box selling it's counter.

Lmao the whole socialism vs capitalism debate died when the cold war ended capitalism won biggly and people who are considered "socialist" in the west are just capitalists who want a welfare state. The big debate of our era is nationalism vs internationalism.

Game is Majesty. It's an incredible game and well worth playing. It's a sandbox / rts only your heroes control themselves.

Furthermore, I'll define my term in counter to yours.
>The crisis of privation is a term used to describe the situation in a shared-resource system where individual users acting according to the whim of one user or a group of users which have defined "the common good of all users" in their own self-interest and out of the interest of the majority of users whilst simultaneously duping a large number of those users into acting against their own self-interest 'for the interest of all'.

Though they see no benefit, they still rationalize their action as "the benefit of all" even though all those which interact with the system, their kin, their community, themselves, see little to no benefit in comparison to those who already exist in the high positions of the hierarchy.

it was a dope game. the only problem was you'd get a the point where you could squash all the monsters that spawned. Continuation was difficult.

You're a neoliberal climate skeptic.

Neo because your preference requires the use of and a belief in institutions to organize.

Liberal because it's the word the rest of the world uses for capitalism.

Your's is a mainstream philosophy. Good job, not get off of Jow Forums take a physical geography class and stop caring what other people(especially on the internet) think about you.

>belief in institutions to organize.
how do we keep billions of people alive without a single institution?

Jow Forums should ban these faggots

What do the military, the market, the church, the university, and teamsters all have in common?

They're organizations; they have clout and can get shit done (some more than others).

Individuals join and associate with thousands of them to achieve their ends. They often compromise part of what they want to get something incrementally better than what they have.

From time to time i conclude apocalypse is the only solution. But then I think of how terrible such a thing is.

Apocalypse has been the plan since they got the wheels in motion. They've had 200+ years of setting up the pieces on the board, day by day their odds of pulling the plan off go up. Apocalypse is not a solution, it is their goal. After all, it means revelation. Then they can rule you in the open, and you will be compelled to grovel; the debt is insurmountable and it 'must be paid'.

so we take up arms? what other courses of action do you have?

where can i download majesty 2 for mac

you can prepare for coming global extinction event when sun superflares/micronovas on recurrent ~12000 year schedule and earth's magnetic poles complete their rapid relocation leading to equatorial realignment and climate catasrophe when earth's crust drastically shifts and 100-300 mph winds scour surface. planet's magnetosphere weakening quickly, won't protect from cosmic threat. global elites will be safe underground and you're not invited. democracy is smokescreen for effective oligarchy. you're your only friend. use and abuse government for your benefit and survival. bank on 2046, 27 years.
