Head of Russian orthodox church predicted that Russians will stop existing up to 2050.
Archpriest commented on the words of the head of the Council of Muftis of the Russian Federation, Ravil Gaynutdin, who said that in 15 years almost a third of the population of Russia will be Muslims.
“Muslims give birth to more children. Not Tatars, but Caucasians. Chechens have eight children each just like Ingush people and others. Russians will be history by 2050. Other nations will live here altogether: Chechens, Ingushs, Arabs, Tajiks and others”, he noted.
At the same time, when asked whether it was possible to somehow change the situation, the clergyman answered: "It's too late".
Earlier, Rosstat published data according to which the birth rate in Russia fell to a ten-year low, which resulted in a natural population decline.
