serious question here guys. if we all worked together, and every one of us filed a lawsuit against CNN...would that take them down financially?
i mean think about it, even if lawsuits are frivolous and it costs us $100 a piece in court fees to submit our bullshit lawsuit, thats still time that CNN has to pay their lawyers to respond to. we could topple them with legal fees if they have to pay lawyers to respond to 10,000 lawsuits. i mean shit, what if we got it viral and normies joined in? imagine tens of thousands of court notices being delivered to CNN headquarters and all the fucking time they would pay for having to divert their regular staff like secretaries and grunts into sorting and opening all the mail, and then having to pay thousands of hours in legal fees for lawyers and paralegals to respond, pay for postage, and mail back to the courts. and thats just like the first paperwork. even just form-lettering their responses would take so much fucking time. and guess what, if they miss a response, or make a mistake, it could mean a summary judgement in the user-suits favor. so even in a numbers game, double checking everything, lawyers are going to fuck up and make paperwork mistakes if they are doing tens of thousands of draft "motions to dismiss".
why havent we thought of this before? $100 a person is a small price to pay to take down teh leftist propaganda machine. any legal anons care to weigh in? there might even be types of suits you could file that dont require court fees up front
i want to sue for emotional distress when i saw Don Lemon call my president a klan wizard in the white house. i now suffer from anxiety and have gone to see the doctor and psychologist like 20 times because i was afraid i may have been a racist without knowing it. so i am now seeking $148,800 in damages against CNN
is this one of those ideas that is too good and thats why the thread is getting actively slid by leftist-paid operators with zero replies? or is it just a really dumb idea?
Imagine if we could get the president himself to sue > No legal fees > The entire mass of the US Justice Branch collapsing upon CNN and Don Lemon > Could sue for defamation This could be an option anons
Sebastian Ward
well at least if we get enough momentum and the idea goes viral
It would cost you money to file a lawsuit But it would be awesome if people took them to small claims court and accused them of letting Don lemon eye rape the viewers.
Austin Scott
thats what im talking about. a small claims case costs less than $100
in some cases, small claims might even require physical preference to answer the case. CNN would have to pay lawyers to travel. it would be cheaper for them to settle the case and pay off the user like $1,000 or something.
That pretty funny shit. I wanna see that happen. Bump

We would have to sue CNN's parent company which is WarnerMedia, whose parent company is AT&T
which is probably not possible but then again we're Jow Forums we jacked CNN up during that blackmail
Ayden Hughes
I don’t like the idea of this shit spreading like wildfire. The only way this would work is if a law is immediately passed to keep shit like this from happening ever again. Think about it, this tactic could be used to destroy pretty much any single person as well

hivemind lawsuits

Spending to.e in small claims court I've seen company's like Google have to pay local in state attorneys to represent them for a few thousand each day.
CNN would fold if they got over a 100 small claims lawsuits in 50 states
Eli Garcia
Isn't that basically what Scientology did to get out of their IRS difficulties?
Nathan Campbell
we could fight the commies with a war of attrition
small cost for each individual. minimal impact per person on the corporate entity as a whole. but combined with thousands of anons, it could be death by a thousand paper cuts?
It would work People would just have to file the claim.
Anthony Lewis
Yes, in fact I support doing this to ever Fortune 500 company. They’re all a bunch of SJW faggots who need to burn.
Joseph Cook
it's definitely a messed up idea boycotting would be taken to a whole new level instead of not buying *insert stuff that offends your feelings*, you could just make it rich and bleed them of money
Tyler Robinson
look at this. in new york its only $15 to file a claim for less than $1,000
you could literally claim CNN owes you $999 for emotional stress and make up your fanfiction reason, then pay $15.
CNN would then have to pay a lot more than $15 to have an attorney answer your claim
remember, for small claims court you dont have to be an attorney to start a case. but corporations HAVE to use an attorney to respond to legal actions
CNN would probaly have to pay an attorney 5,000 dollars per day. In NYC multiple cases would drain them.
The record companies took a huge loss when they hired attorneys to sue people for using Napster.
Suing broke Niggers downloading music is not profitable.
Gavin Thompson
Too risky. It would destroy the entire legal system and the country overnight
Samuel Robinson
Small claim lawsuits is why Jack Dorsey couldn't sell twitter 5 years ago he would of had to pay off pending cases before a sale.

do you think the concept is viable then? like if even only 1,000 anons in each state filed claims, that would be 50,000 separate cases that CNN attorneys would have to deal with. aside from their hourly rates, just logistically it would create huge chaos and financial hardship for CNN. all the mail, the communications, figuring out who is in charge of what, assigning cases, hiring or finding help, printing, couriers to court, there is just so much that goes into a legal case.
but people have a constitutional right to take grievances to court
if the thousands of illegals can tie up our court systems with their fake asylum requests why arent we making teet-suckling local gov employees work for us instead?
anyway thread isnt getting much attention but if you guys think this might be something you want to get onboard with or at least explore, let me know and ill spend the next few days doing research and compiling logistics like links, prices, and instructions on how to make a small claims court case
we all have legitimate cases to file here, im sure of it
It's pretty much too late. It's out. It's just a matter of time who's gonna do it. Strike now before the other side strikes first, and the government finds a way to fix the loophole. If you do that they're gonna say you're just cowards fucks souless incels and other shit like that, so they're gonna look like dicks and hypocrites when they're gonna try the same scheme.
Ryder Sanchez
Dam, too bad I'm not in America I would totally like to do that shit.
Wyatt Barnes
yeah ill look into it, you might not need to be a citizen or american to file a small claims case. im not sure im researching right now. even if you have to be, in most states the system is so cucked they cant even ask for proof because they get sued for that
