Seri Is question, I am a Christian and the best Christian music I have heard was made ironically by a fucking video game company in the form of Far Cry 5’s soundtrack.
It is literally the greatest Christian music I have ever heard, and it was made ironically to mock me.
Why is that? Why can’t christians make good music anymore? It’s fucking sad, why can’t we use music to inspire people towards a life of godliness?
FC5’s credits song was unironically really fucking good. If it makes you feel any better, a lot of great musicians take a lot of inspiration from the bible.

between the three religions Christianity is the only one with music you can even tolerate, jewish and muslim songs suck the donkey dick
Oh, sorry, forgot to explain why Christian music is usually really bad: it’s because it comes off as arrogant, preachy, and annoying, because the people who write it are arrogant, preachy, and annoying. Just look at your archetypal Christian rock guy with his soul patch, affliction shirt, and massive cross that he wears around everywhere outside his shirt. It’s fucking annoying, and it comes off like that. They don’t write songs about the inherent meaning in Christianity, they sing about platitudes that are loosely related to Christianity. There’s no depth to it because the people writing it have no depth, and that goes for almost all religious music.

They were too busy building catherdrals, philophising on scriptures and crusading back in the day to be working on voodoo jungle music or whatever it is that you’re looking for.
