Basically it tries to "capitalize" on fancy word sounding and psuedo-scientific concepts to psychologically prep or manipulate a person sometimes even the hardest of skeptics.
e.g Alex Jones. He may not be New Age but he's a prime example of E.G.G.S in action.
If you wanted to start a cult or something E.G.G.S would come in hand because you can warp and twist narratives more quickly than anyone can disprove them due to the nature of methods. Beyond cults you can actually manipulate whole sections of masses. Either trough TV shows, movies, video games and so forth.

Best and worse thing about E.G.G.S is that it can be spready not unlike HIV but it doesn't require any sort of intimate contact. You can acquire E.G.G.S from say, a TV show. A news broadcast.book, a music video you listened to. Anything basically. It's like a memetic hazard.
