The 2016 presidential election ruined Jow Forums. Before that we were a underground inside joke that everyone on the internet was aware of but didn’t hit many mainstream audiences. But with the influence that we had on the memes of 2016, more mainstream news brought traffic to the site and replaced quality memes and banter with conservacucks that kept spewing their autism all over the board.
We are so beyond what we used to be because ideologues stumbled onto the board and are too concerned about their “optics” and their own agenda other than what Jow Forums used to be, just here to fuck shit up.
If you want to go back to those days, think of something funny, post it, and if it’s funny enough we probably will take part in it.

Remember that Trump wasn't popular for being Trump but for being the guy noone thought would win; and that to blow his campaign up as big as we did was essentially just a crown jewel of trollery. Now they want to shill their candidates and will presumably see a massive blow-back of counter-democratic tendencies as people get fed up with it, and for the same reason too - that normies are insufferable, that their concept of humor is subhuman, that this place is its anons and noone else. I regularly have meetups of this type since I redpilled my neighbors and coworkers. Far as I know at least half of them post on here now, and so I see the appeal of this idea. Ultimately I believe we're better off maintaining a low profile though; the governments hunt dissenters wherever possible and few things are as easily fingated as a "hate speech" offense. Better to go it alone and take allies that reveal themselves along the way IMO.
