Do they? The DoJ is pretty openly pulling for them at this point, they'll spend the next year nailing any Republican they can for traffic tickets or jaywalking while Democrats are free to walk for high treason. The Mueller report will likely contain a bunch of weasel words about how "we found no DIRECT EVIDENCE" of collusion and then the Clinton foundation attorneys working for Mueller will go on CNN and claim they almost had it but the mean old Mr. Barr stopped them before they could find it. Democrats will still move to impeach over something silly and they'll still get told to piss off. They have absolutely no path forward except an impeachment proceeding even if Mueller says Trump is a great guy who tends to sick children and puppies on his day off, it's the only thing they ran on in 2018 and their voters gave them congress, look at what happened to the GOP after it kept Obamacare in place and blocked the wall, impeaching Trump is their Obamacare repeal, they have no choice but to attempt it even if an embarrassing failure is coming from it.

Trump will not actually be removed from office, however if given the opportunity Democrats will use these conspiracy theories as an excuse to investigate and fabricate charges against Trump confidants while also using the machinery of the federal government to spy on his campaign.
