New age

Don't know if it's a topic suited for this board but..
Could some one explain me why there is so much hatred for new age movement like wth. It's not a cult nor a religion it doesn't have leaders even.

A lot of the new age movement is misinformation peddled as fact. See Spirit Science for example.

It seems to have a lot in common with buddhism yet everyone loves buddhism.

it teaches you to be naive and gullible so you can be easily run over, that is the goal of the new age movement

lots of BS peddlers and liars in new age, lots of hippie morons talking about love and light as the world goes to shit

some of the info is true, but most of it is pure garbage

buddhism teaches you to be passive, detach from the world, dont get involved, become a spectator, so you can be easily fleeced and coralled

war has already been declared upon you and everything you hold dear, saying namaste isn't going to save you

Because it’s an incoherent mess of ancient philosophies and pagan superstition with little to no coherence. The New Age movement is just a grab bag of anything that doesn’t resemble Abrahamic religion.

that part actually makes sense

it just goes off the deep end when people are claiming to be in contact with the galactic federation of light or beings from sirius

and I just cant stand new agers, they're just empty headed hippies

Tbh it sounded like perfect religion.

new age is old myths repackaged in plastic wrap, and sold to you as a product. Same way people hate professional conspiracy theorists. Just buy my fucking book already.

>It's not a cult
lol

"it teaches you to be naive and gullible so you can be easily run over, that is the goal of the new age movement

lots of BS peddlers and liars in new age, lots of hippie morons talking about love and light as the world goes to shit

That sounds like every religion ever

youtube.com/watch?v=IAq55ZyKcYY

and new agers are 99% bleeding heart open border global warming believing leftists
they will destroy everything

Because it leads lost people down a path of false hope.

False hope for what exactly?

thats why I'm not religious
there is a spiritual world, there is some good advice, wisdom and philosophy in religions
but I can't be mind controlled into following a religion and believing every mumbo jumbo they say

false hope that a utopia is coming, if you just believe and meditate for world peace and buy crystals

these idiots would sit and pray for a bridge instead of building one

most new age bullshit is just rehashed\repurposed occult stuff published by blavatsky and crowley
it has no scientific basis, and most beliefs around it are extremely dangerous to society and the human civilization as a whole
impressionable retards who lack guidance are the first to get hooked on that shit
while sane people with a set finish line in their life know how stupid, childish and dangerous most new age practices truly are
you should always try your best to avoid any new age bullshit by understanding that the people who originally pushed for it were plotting for world domination (blavatsky, crowley, levi)
seriously, most modern new age groups are literally cargo cults, emulating what those three fucks tried to do more than 100 years ago

>extremely dangerous
As are knives yet we aren't condemning them.
It seems to me that it's just another belief system hated more than others out of ignorance.

Commercialised spiritualism is bad but liberation from old world religions and archaic institutions is good.

I love "new-age" type stuff. It's actually ancient, despite its name, because it all stems from old Asian religions. God works in mysterious ways, and as it turns out, just one, and only one practice will lead you to Him. I realize now this post is in vain- words and quarreling never change anyone's mind. And yet, though our minds remain stubborn, I know the hivemind heart craves the Truth, and instinctively gravitates to it.

>Commercialised spiritualism
Why tho? People should get paid for their work.

"New age" doesn't say that the teachings are new it says that new age is coming
I came here with the ignorance theory i said previously and it seems to be actually true

“Utopia” is just Heaven for satanists and people too woke and trendy for Jesus.

Youre completely wrong like most christians. utopia is heaven for atheists. For satanists pure chaos is heaven.

well, I used to be REAAAAAALLY deeply into the new age. and here is my take on it...

>New age is all about positivity, rejecting negative beliefs, thoughts, ideas, etc..
>New age philosophy believes in literally the same thing as the globalists push down our throats >this is a new age, race mixing is the future of humanity, we are all one and the same, etc etc.. New age is basically White Genocide formula sold with sprinkles on top
>a very high focus on meditating and having LDs/OBEs, which is fine... but my life was a fucking mess. and I spend my time every day (i remember up to 2 hours per day for like a year) meditating trying to leave my body cuz i hated my life and reality that much
>New age completely ignores all the world problems and red pill truths and this is where my main problem with these LARPers lie

I really hate how Christians hate New age like they hate Pagans (I still am one), but New age doesn't bring anything to the table other than a fantasy what our world coudl be 500, 1000, 2000 years into the future where we are all enlightened beings and shit. problem is, this won't happen for a very very long time, if ever. and all the new agers are living in a fantasy land, ignoring all the world's truths and problems TODAY.

I still wanna read Robert Monroe's 3rd world, though. his first 2 were excellent, and the 2nd one was truly amazing. I was meditating reading the part about reincarnation and the whole process of it until graduation. fascinating stuff and I believe in it from personal experience

youtube.com/watch?v=P71E0YlJzlg

>jesus
mr never fight back, turn the other buttcheek and get crucified

another dumb role model

I should probably listen to you. You’re British. You’d know about these character traits.

>New age is all about positivity, rejecting negative beliefs, thoughts, ideas, etc..
I fucking hate this, denying half of reality while pretending to be in nirvana when the house is on fire

reincarnation is real, but not a new age idea

I don't get to choose my IP

>It's not a cult nor a religion

>I still wanna read Robert Monroe's 3rd world, though. his first 2 were excellent, and the 2nd one was truly amazing
Ive read all three long time ago. Liked them a lot.
Thanks for the effort you have put in the reply

yep. like judging people=bad, hating other races, despite whether or not they kill your kind=bad, wanting to help the world=good, etc..

if you ask me, New age philosophy is sort of a naiveness trait of Europeans. like Kevin McDonalds said, only Europeans would go out somewhere in the middle of nowhere (like Africa), completely away from their tribe. And then try to help the people who are completely different from them. I see that mentality in the New Age. and there is hardly any blacks in the New Age. mostly whites, with some other races here and there.

it's basically seeing humanity in a good light, no matter how bad some races act. like Former KGB Agent Yuri Bezmenov said how soviet propaganda was used to take all this new age yoga bullshit and sell it like it's the future of humanity. and while you spend all your time meditating, and literally reaching higher levels of consciousness meeting gods, etc.. your country is being invaded and infiltrated.

but i do believe some people incarnate here just for that. they block out all the world and the chaos in it because it is their purpose. i just left this community because I realized it isn't mine, and i have A LOT of work to do here in the physical world. doing the New Age stuff just helped me to cope with my shit existence and avoid it.

youtube.com/watch?v=GtAl9zJ3t-M

If you somehow know Polish. You can read Darek Sugier's book it's better in my opinion than all Robert's. It was never translated unfortunately.

Monks aren't really new ago, though. besides, these Monks have literal experience with muzzies, living next to them all their lives. anyone with such experience gets red pilled... and red pilled fast...

most of the New Agers live in places like LA, and Sedona. I haven't met one single muzzie in the new age community, because they don't exist. New agers are mostly blue pilled LARPers who have not a single clue about the world.

desu his 3rd book is on my hold right now. i got way too many self development books i need to read first. but i'll get to it for sure, hopefully before it's my time to leave this place. I think Monroe is a LEGEND!

buddhism is crippling, they had how long to deal with muslims?? only now they lift a finger
myanmar is still a 3rd world nation, when you spend 8 hrs a day meditating instead of doing productive things, your country will be pretty basic

New age is incoherent complete garbage that lacks any kind of rigorous philosophy, divine revelation, or tried and test practice.

Everyone who is part of any kind of authentic religious Tradition should see the new age movement for the pleb shit it is.

Attached: 1485720742686.jpg (1280x853, 738K)

unfortunately, i don't. i speak Russians, though. and I know Polish is very similar.

either way, Journey of Souls basically had the exact same message as Monroe in his books and interviews. which is why I believe him and in the whole process. and that was probably the most smoothest reads I ever had. it got me so grounded and I completely understood life and why we're all here. none of the Monotheistic religions could do that for me.

Yeah your right for the most part. It really is pointless for you to ask that question OP. Ignorance, in my experience, does play a big part of it.

The reality is that reading a wiki page or two topped off by a handfull of paragraphs from anyone of these user's favorite religious encyclopedias just isn't enough.
It's just not enough to get a deep understanding of religious systems that are not only thousands of years old, but also a deep understanding of a philosophical frame of mind alien to those in the west.

Wrong.

“When the perceptions of the moment are evaluated by one drifting upon the surface of the moment there is fairly constantly the making of choices which maximize comfort. We do not imply that there is something wrong with comfort. We simply point out that comfort or happiness is neither joy or sorrow, but simply comfort. That which most entities call joy is actually no more than a surface degree of comfort and ease within which one may rest and enjoy the illusion. With this we find absolutely nothing amiss. It is only that the state of mind which is comfortable runs directly counter to that state of mind in which the seeker may make choices.
The path of joy is equally as effective as the path of sorrow. Yet, if the seeker is truly upon the path of joy there is the same degree of creative unrest in this process that there is while undergoing the catalyst of losses, limitations and grief. This is the road not taken, the path of joy. If you would be good at this path, learn to be dissatisfied with happiness and count all things as loss except turning again to praise and give thanks to the one infinite Creator. If the intensity of desire can be maintained while there is an absence of negative catalyst, then the negative catalyst is not necessary. You may see that, indeed, few there are who are able to walk this particular path to the infinite One.”

THEODORE ROOSEVELT, “THE STRENUOUS LIFE” (10 April 1899)
[1] In speaking to you, men of the greatest city of the West, men of the State which gave to the country Lincoln and Grant, men who pre-eminently and distinctly embody all that is most American in the American character, I wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of the strenuous life, the life of toil and effort, of labor and strife; to preach that highest form of success which comes, not to the man who desires mere easy peace, but to the man who does not shrink from danger, from hardship, or from bitter toil, and who out of these wins the splendid ultimate triumph.

We do not admire the man of timid peace. We admire the man who embodies victorious effort; the man who never wrongs his neighbor, who is prompt to help a friend, but who has those virile qualities necessary to win in the stern strife of actual life. It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed. In this life we get nothing save by effort. Freedom from effort in the present merely means that there has been stored up effort in the past.

But a lot of these other anons aren't to wrong either. The excessive amounts of eclecticism in the new age....group....religion...cult? Is one of its biggest failings as a system of spiritual-discipline.

Is the eclecticism of Christianity a similar reflection upon its whole system? Every system has distortions. The “New Age” teachings are no more a monolith than Christianity is a monolith.

Yeah, it seems people forget that jesus wasnt born in 25 December and almost all christianity is a mix of different belief systems

Well when you put it that way...it would depened. While Christianity may not be uterly uniform in the ways it's practised it still is very cohesive in its doctrine and from what I understand it's origin.

On the other I can't say I know at least that much about new age spirtuality. It's origin, over-arching doctrines, the history of it's development.

New age is new and people are not giving it a chance to develop. The newest part of bible was written in 15th century

That maybe the case, but how many different belief systems actually make up christianity? From what I'm aware of Christianity in most of its forms are very similar to one another.

To the Abrahamic Theists, it is heathenish and absolutely haram.

Attached: 73885692834.jpg (408x450, 111K)

OK then what does New Age Spirituality actually draw upon?
Since Christianity has been mentioned, my answer for that one would be the supposed life of Jesus Christ.

I meant that all traditions values etc of christianity is a mix. A mix of slavic paganism Germanic paganism and many others. But when you have broth that up I think there are thousands branches of christianity and they differ quite a lot

As this user says
the New Age refers to the age which we are about to enter. It could be a reference to the Bible: "This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. Over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him a thousand years" —Rev. 20:4-6
However, I am of the understanding that it is a more persistent change. "A thousand years" is a metaphor for "the indefinite future," as a thousand years would surely seem to someone at the time period when the Bible was written.

Christianity takes influences from many sources, depending on the sect. You may see influence from Zoroastrianism, and from Ancient Greek schools like the Stoics. However, the Bible also says "there is nothing new under the sun." Both Christianity and the New Age offer lessons which are older than us, older than Jesus of Nazareth, and even older than this earth.
What is your desire? What do you wish to know? Who do you wish to be?

>OK then what does New Age Spirituality actually draw upon?
You tell me I know little about the movement, by the name I'm guessing it's draw upon the new age of prosperity. And as christianity was the religion of the pisces, the new age is supposed to be the religion of aquarius. The sons of the age of aquarius are indigo and crystal children who are supposed to lead the world

The New Age draws on the life of Jesus, too. Have no fear of that.

4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are of God; for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God.

"The concept of the Christ was this—that intelligent infinity as experienced by the Logos and with the bias of the Logos would enter a third-density experience, not erasing the one known as Jesus’ personality or being, but coming into the closest possible harmony with that being. There needed to be one who wished to sacrifice an incarnation to the ever-increasing pleasure and agony of the Creator, experiencing what this instrument would call the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, for it is the nature of the Christ and the nature of third density that the two, perceiving each other, should react—the third density with a lack of understanding, and the Christ with wonder, joy and sacrifice. Such is the sorrow of your illusion and the joy of sensation and communion.
In the end, Jesus the man became so able to bear both joy and agony that this entity stopped experiencing the Creator and for long periods of time became the Creator experiencing third density. Such is the perfect channeling of love. The achievement of the perfect channeling was the mystery of union between Creator and illusion."

Sounds about right. Although I would have said Hebrew religion mixed with grecco-Roman mystery cults and nice sprinkle of European folk traditons.
But again from how I understand it, all the sects of Christianity may have varying degrees of asthetic differences, there are still a core group of beliefs that makes them apart of the same religion. I doubt that you would meet many Christians who disagree with concepts like the Virgin birth, christ's resurrection, remission of sins, etc...

if anyone cares to know... Seth, channeled by Jane Roberts, was one of the first "people" who jump started the new age movement...

Jesus christ that pic. It doesn't look invcentive at all. It looks like an invitation to some kind of masonic event

Well then my apologies. I thought I was talking with someone who knew a bit about New Age stuff.
The only thing I know is that it's a spiritual system created whole cloth from a lot of subcontinentel Indian religious concepts, superimposed on European astrology.
No one's in charge of any sort of dogma and most people who practice and write about it pick and choose what they like and develope it in that direction.

Just a reminder that the aquarius age starts in 2050 and will last more than 2 thousand years. Im just trying to figure out if it's worth to learn more about the movement. And after reading all of this the answer for me is yes

whut? you mean Jews aren't from Mars?

The point is to help other people, to have love and compassion for even the shittiest types of individuals.

Because we should hold hold ourselves in higher esteem instead of shitting on each other until we die.

Protip, Ouroboros, you're in this game for eternity. Might as well try to get everything harmonized and everyone on the same frequency to love and respect one another. It may take ages, but we're all in this together, we are all coming back once we die. No exceptions. We come back until we accomplish the goal. It's just that simple

Attached: Screenshot_20190223-144708_Chrome.jpg (809x3570, 1.68M)

>it dosent have leaders
Alice bailey

Allow me to partly disagree. The point of living is to find the goal and accomplish it doesn't have to be a goal to love everyone can be just the opposite. However we enter the new age the age of love and helping each other. The dark times of hatred and wars will end soon.

When I have talked with one person from the movement he have said that they don't consider him as the leader. And movement without a leader is harmless and there is not much to hate

The way I see it, you're agreeing with me.

Seek self realization. Harness the kundalini, the sexual creative energy. Don't squander it by seeking base pleasures. No fap has it right to an extent, but you don't need to chastise yourself. You just need to be in balance and in tune with your body. Many are not. Many people lack the discipline not because they're weak individuals, but because they're intoxicated. Intoxicated on a weekly and in some instances daily basis. The vaccination agenda is a farce, they inject kids early with aluminum, Mercury, and other toxic substances and chemicals like heavy metals and radioactive isotopes to essentially render the body infertile, inoperable, and inefficient. Birth defects cases like mental illness and physical disabilities are caused because the womb is intoxicated by the pollutants in the air, food, and water. Children are vaccinated to render them in a low vibratory state. The body detects toxic chemicals from the womb and the fetus doesn't have a chance to evolve their consciousness. They're always cycled through a fight or flight response. Especially as infants, this is detrimental to the development of children. It breeds humans that are close to animal than Godhood.

The sexual creative energy is how your body produces DMT. It's the source of all intuition and inspiration i.e spirit molecule. It's produced so subtly that one would never sense it unless they stop dulling their senses with stimulants like drugs, food, alcohol, sex, and other sensory stimulants that can induce anxiety, or dopamine triggers. That's why spiritualists fast, chastise themselves, and meditate to control their emotions. They naturally eat diets that keep them HEALTHY in order to be able to sense that overwhelming source of confidence and inspiration. For the purpose of creation. For we all have the potential to create.

It is a biological process that involves complete focus on the body through pure imagination.

The imagination is powerful. Mainstream undermines it by calling it a placebo, but placebos carry insane potential for something that solely relies on imagination. That's because belief is a powerful tool.

and let's not forget "Emmanuel" the channeled being by Pat Rodegast

watch this presentation to understand. It's long, and his presentation style can come off a bit heavy handed, but it's incredibly accurate and important info.

It mostly consists of boomers who sought spiritual refuge in foreign traditions, bastardizing them often, instead of confronting the existential crisis of the Western world since Nietzsche. The tl;dr version is that they are fags.

Mark Passio - "New" age bullshit and the suppression of the sacred masculine - extended with slides

What's with the sexual energy? The source of all energy in human body is in the heart chakra and it then transforms into other energies.

It was a Jewish program to subvert Western Civilization by replacing our deepest values, traditions, and religion wiht foreign influence and hokey-pokey hippie bullshit. And it largely succeeded.

The heart Chakra is emotional energy

The root Chakra is sexual energy

The crown Chakra is inspir(it)ational energy

It's a closed circuit that loops back

Its potency is affected by the moon and other cosmological magnetic influences

It's a tool of unyielding compassion and unwavering commitment, with unyielding love and unwavering confidence. I am speaking from experience.

Sorry brother but you are misguided it's not a circuit and you have mixed names. I'm speaking from the heart where it all begins

Attached: seven-chakras-spiral-eps-vectors_csp57030435.jpg (450x470, 29K)

One last thing to note.

The kundalini is described as a coiled serpent, because the sacrum is often kept stagnant. Especially if you don't exercise. That is why many people complain about back problems. It's described as a coiled serpent because it feels like a constricting sensation around your sensation. Proper stretching of the spine to get the fluid flowing is required, proper breathing techniques are required to mobilise spinal liquid, and abstinence if required to collect enough of it.

"Christ Oil" is what it's regarded as.

Ever wonder why an upside down triangle symbolizes water? That's because the sacrum is its symbol. Holy water.

Attached: 19464.jpg (400x320, 109K)

The body is always connected. As above, so below.

Yes but the source of energy is in the heart. Btw do you worship enki? I hope you know it's a demon
