Report this to HR first thing, by email or in a certified letter and not just over the phone. Then go right away to whatever kind of counseling venue you can afford, minister, shrink whatever. Go on and on about how this has adversely affected you. Go many days. After two weeks get the counselor to provide you with notes about why you are attending. Keep going. In the meantime, go to Equal Employment Opportunity Counsel in your area. Explain you were verbally abused at work, are currently in counseling, and you need advice and resources on how to proceed. Tell them your were goung to ask whoever yelled at you to give you info on th EAP employee assistance program available where you work, but couldn't because they started screaming at you. Follow this and your life will change definitively.

Just have a little faith in the person giving the instructions, since their master plan probably involves you doing whatever they say EXACTLY as they instruct you to do it if they can communicate properly.
