Venezuela enters fourth day of blackout as Maduro blames U.S. cyberattack

>Venezuela enters fourth day of blackout as Maduro blames U.S. cyberattack

>Venezuelans woke up to a fourth day of an unprecedented nationwide blackout on Sunday, leaving residents concerned about the impacts of the lack of electricity on the South American country's health, communications and transport systems.

>Socialist President Nicolas Maduro - who is facing a challenge to his rule by the leader of the opposition-led congress, Juan Guaido - has blamed the blackout on an act of "sabotage" by the United States at the Guri hydroelectric dam, but experts say it is the outcome of years of underinvestment.

>"The national electrical system has been subject to multiple cyberattacks," Maduro wrote on Twitter on Sunday. "However, we are making huge efforts to restore stable and definitive supply in the coming hours."

>Guaido invoked the constitution to assume an interim presidency in January, arguing that Maduro's 2018 re-election was fraudulent. He has been recognized as Venezuela's legitimate leader by the United States and most Western countries.

You would have to retarded to believe this is a mere coincidence, right? Just when we are trying to oust the current president, a massive blackout occurs which will only serve to foment unrest in the country? I mean, who really believes we didn't have a hand in this.

>how could a socialist shithole possibly have anything less than perfect infrastructure!!!
fuck off you communist shill, don't you have a gulag to work in?

you believe everything you are told, don't you

Only a total moron doesn't recognize this is all orchestrated .. there has been a substation exploding each day.. each time the power is coming back on they blow up another

the people who put their head in the sand now are the same people who let the same neocons lie us into the Iraq war

Good. I hope this serves as a warning to others that the US doesn't tolerate dirty fucking commies. Hes lucky it wasn't a B2 airstrike.

All of the earth shall submit to the total rule of the globalist plutocrat Judeo-elite, within their open global market/plantation/sweatshop. In exchange, porn, hard drugs, fast food, and other such amenities of Progress™ shall be supplied to the sprawling, garbage filled ghetto hell-scape in which you are permanently stuck. 'merka! Freedom!

Except Venezuela's been having shortages of food, money and energy for like a year now. They can't feed themselves, animals in the zoo starve to death, blackouts have been regular for a while now and their currency is worth less than WoW gold pieces. It's just because there's increased attention on them now we see these things more prominently, and leftists say it's a plot by the Americans to destroy their utopia.

>Runescape suddenly has no more Venezuelan goldfarmers
>Amount Traded of several popular items decreases by 60-80% overnight
>prices through the roof

Pic related is Nature Runes

Attached: IMG_20190311_103121.jpg (1100x416, 68K)

I'm convinced they were bots. They farmed resources up in the wilderness, and would never respond when talked to, even in Spanish. Attack them, and they fled automatically, only to return a minute or two later. It was fun pking them for a while, but it got old really fast. I actually picked up Runescape again a few months ago to go after Venezuelan gold farmers.

im not arguing in favor of venezuela's current government. Im just pointing out that it's blindingly obvious we are sabotaging their power to generate unrest. They have never had a blackout this severe before. The timing alone is highly convenient for us

this is the real end-game. The money interests in the United States are heavily leveraged against chaos and nature runes in runescape. They are trying to crash the market

>believes we didn't have a hand in this.
If you are going to make such claims, provide some evidence. You speak like a shill, "you have to be retarded." "Only a complete moron." If all you have is name calling, you have nothing.

Attached: 1531962531043.gif (597x557, 3.32M)

Does the deep state secretly serve Zamorak?

I left venezuela last year and power outages have been happening for years now. This has been the most severe but its only because of the incompetence of the goverment, the main reason this shit happens is the corruption of the goverment misusing the funds and the workers itself doing no preventive maintenance

I worked as an electrician in a maintenance department and not actually doing any maintenance is the norm in venezuela, you just fix whatever brakes down however you can

Just a (((coincidence))), goy.

>trying to shill the democrat's idea of "MUH CIA IS TRYIN TO RUIN VENEZUELA"

Here is why this argument falls short

>Years of energy shortages
>somehow surprised when it all blows up
>Venezuela's oil is low quality and depends on heavy investments
>America didn't care about Venezuela starving or whatever else until it became literally unbearable for Caracas
Public perception only fell apart when all leftist govs. in South America started falling apart as literally any five year old could have predicted. So when the illusion created by the "Foro de São Paulo" couldn't be mantained by the media and the govs. anymore, it got to the public perception of people all over the world. Now, Venezuela being a leftist dictatorship had suffered the most, and started getting support in the form of aid coming from international organizations. The thing is, they either refused it and closed their borders or took control and only released aid to those who would support them. This is why you are seeing energy shortages: it's not worth working in a powerplant when you know you are not going to receive any money for doing so.

So even if it were true, americans wouldn't gain anything from seizing Venezuelan oil, because of the high investments with rather low returns. And even then, the only reason the conflict there is blowing up so much only now is because the people who were covering it up are either in jail or not in power anymore. What the hell do you think the entire Mercosul was doing when Chavez was alive? Even when he died, they still tried to mantain this huge illusion of democracy. In other words, fuck off ignorant amerifat.

As much as I'd like to believe it was an intervention just for the lulz, the truth is Venezuela already had blackouts going on. There are lots of documentaries showing how they eat rotten food because of blackouts. Their infrastructure is collapsing.

Glow niggers up to no good.

Thing is, Venezuela still produces quite a bit of oil, but they're heavily in debt to China and Russia. Since everyone knows their currency is worthless, Russian and Chinese ships stop by to fill up on oil to pay the debt. Still, even if they weren't using oil as money they'd still have troubles generating energy because no one cares/gets paid enough to care.

Also, I am not a jewish shill, but you would have to be crazy to believe Venezuela's situation would be better if it weren't for american intervention. In fact, if America gave Venezuelans guns to take down the gov. , they entire situation would be way better than it is currently, but all this pointless bureaucracy is only getting more people killed. Maduro won't renegade his power, because his power is also part of a bigger power play in the entirety of SA that is only now crumbling apart. And Brazil, along other nations in the continent, won't invade Venezuela. Same with the US.

This as well. But their oil just isn't worth enough to justify invasion. The Orinoco Belt produces low quality oil.

You'd have to be crazy to believe Venezuela's situation isn't being made worse through american intervention.
Notice I say "made worse", I'm not suggesting it wouldn't be bad anyway.

Can you blame them? Who wants an unstable socialist wreck of a country that leaks refugees, arms and drugs smuggling, and gives your geopolitical rivals a foot in your backyard? If Europe was smart we'd have done something about Libya a long time ago. Have a presence on the coast or something, stop boats, kill terrorists, pump oil through Italian government and use it for Italian pensions, paying off debt and subsidise young families. It'd create jobs for soldiers and engineers as well.

Did he mention gullible?

Mexico has been burgerland's bitch for the longest time and still leaks gibmigrants, arms and drug smuggling.
Only the eternal jew benefits from foreign interventions. There's a gorillion shitholes causing trouble in first world countries, what a (((coincidence))) only Venezuela is a problem.

How so? Even if it were the CIA ( which it's not),
>Maduro's regime falls earlier. >Guaido becomes president and maybe, just maybe , sellouts to the US.
>The US makes fuck all money in return for heavy investments in the area so it can become profitable.
>Venezuelans cheer as they get to live as if it were 1980 all over again.

You are also assuming that if it weren't for america, they'd still have food or energy. My nigga, they haven't had it for years. Things getting out of hand now isn't unbeliveable, even without american influence. Again, you are letting the fact you've all only learned that Venezuela exists to try and craft some bullshit idea that it's the americans trying to speed things up. Things were already going to be here, america or not. This is years in the making.

That goes equally for the shit your shilling on this board, retard.

You're not wrong. I'm not enthuisiastic about a possible military intervention, but for once I'm glad the US kicking doors down is not going to impact Europe for a change. Still, Maduro is a commie, so it's hard to feel sympathy for him and his Cuban pals. Apparently his personal bodyguards and spies/close advisors are all Cubans because he's not sure who he can trust among his countrymen.

They have blackouts constantly. Just because it's not newsworthy doesn't mean there's a conspiracy.

Imagine being so woke you start taking a tinpot socialist dictator at face value.

Watching that shit hole rot and fester is very entertaining.

Communism achieved! Everyone is equally in the dark, comrades. Rejoice!

they got Stuxnet'd to fuck by mossad or CIA or DIA or any other number of amorphous alphabet soup shops in the anglo+israelsphere. just like the Iranian facilities that Israel didn't just bomb to shit, just like some Nork shit several years back.

read up on it a bit and it seems that almost the entire developed bit of their country gets juice from one gigantic hydro-electric station. like 4th largest in the world or so in terms of output, behind the Yangtze River one and a couple others. finished in the 80s with a near-total rebuild in 2010. pretty interesting reading.

i suppose it could have gone tits-up coincidentally but the timing is awfully neat for the folks in the Big Club. especially several congressfolk hooping and hollering about it mere hours after the blackout starts

The Guri Dam has been in a decline for years. Zimbabwe mentallity and utter negligence are to blame. I still remember when it went through a drough back in 2016 and Maduro's plan was essentialy "Electricity rationing, then wait it out until the drough goes away".

You have to take into account this hydroelectric plant is running on the bare minimum of operationality. Hell, this was called years ago by one of the engineers working there. What was the government's solution, why of course, jail the poor fuck, over spreading hate speech or whatever.

how white are you?

About 50% my fellow mutt.

fucking usa why can't you stop meddling other countries every time?

hey, thanks for the reply. flag is very related to my geographic location so i don't have anything in the way of regional knowledge of the area, so to speak. also a unilingual fuck so i can't really dive too, too deep. retard-tier welfare state led by a former bus driver aside, i figured that they would at least have their shit together at their Guri plant since its pretty much all they need to focus on for energy. like, they could just let the minor rural stations go to shit and keep up the big one.

so thanks- no doubt that land would be in relative shambles, especially compared to its earlier prosperity if the US Empire didn't extend its greasy tendrils that way. still, i think it important to recognize immoral foreign intervention when it is likely present.

i don't know man, you surely better know it more than me (if you aren't a glowing nigger), but i just see that whenever the usa presents itself in other countries, these ones start to fall completely to shit.

it isn't so nice for a nation with a somewhat competent gang of thieves running it to be essentially semi-barred from the world market by multiple aircraft carrier groups. nobody is saying that Venezuela is ran by this competent gang; but how the fuck do you think a pack of retards are gonna fare against the same thing?

There were similar blackouts in Chile when Allende was coupe'd'etated. All part of the script.

The USA had nothing to do with OPEC crashing the oil price which was the catalyst for their economic collapse.

>I'm aware of the timing but I'm 99% sure Maduro did this as a falseflag to 1) Present himself as a martyr and 2) Turn the tired and hungry population against duh american empire

funny, i feel pretty foolish for never considering the inverse of what i reckon to be likely. tinpot jackasses can certainly attempt unsavory clandestine bullshit just as much as empires.

i won't refute that because you're right. i'm in opposition of my government's actions nearly wholesale abroad and domestic and generally will bring this opposition up. understand that i am not trying to claim that the majority, or even a very very large part of the "blame" for the shitty conditions in which the folk of your nation find itself is a result of US intervention.

Warring countries messing with power grids should be a war crime.

Yeah it's pretty evident in the Ilhan Omar threads, but that's another story.

>government controlled electrical grids can control electric output for the entirety of the country

They don´t update or invest shit nigga , they had crisis since the 1980 and a massive exodus of the populations since the year 2001.

Worse ever since 2008 they been rationing electricity with daily planed blackouts.

The answer of wtf is happening is obvious to anyone with more than 2 digits iq.

There was a fucking problem at the dam that provided half their electricity and since everyone that knows how to run things has left the retards in charge simply let the rest of the stations runing as always causing substations to blow up.

If you look on twitter or youtube you will see the last 4 days videos of substations exploding.

The Venezuelan government are literally retards it´s hard for anyone to understand how dystopian it is having the more retarded people ruling an entire nation and seizing everything at will and puting their retarded offspring and friends in power causing a domino effect of everything going to hell.

If you think glowniggers acted now almost 2 decades after they started to seize american companies and their oil production is fucked up you are retarded.
Hell the faggot guaido is part of the socialist international to the left than breadline sanders.

The usa literally has nothing to win on this one , maybe getting you fuckers and the cubans out.

But even then it´s not worth the trouble , the infrastructure is so fucked up in Venezuela that it´s unfixeable anymore.

I mean they had more murderers than the entire syrian civil war in the last 5 years.
The only reason the leadership has not left and recognized they fucked up is because they made so much enemies stealing shit that they know they went to far and can´t go back.

So they are bringing the entire country down with them.
It´s sad but they are as much trapped as the rest of the Venezuelans and this shit will only end once the shitty conditions cause a pandemic killing half the country.

Attached: nottruesocialism.jpg (480x541, 61K)

Thats what happens on the day they switch from analog to digital air waves.....so...fuckum.

Yet when I show you my ID card and Passport your brain melts and explodes.

>Manifestantes (Terroristas)
>Policías (Inocentes)

Coño, se nota que el mate que estás tomando está dañado. Hablas de policías o a oficiales que dispararon tiros de advertencia contra niños que solo querían cruzar la frontera para estudiar. Piensa bien lo que dices. Y sí, ya ví el vídeo. Sigue siendo cualquier verga. Quiero recordarte que ese día también atacaron fuerzas paramilitares (colectivos) bajo el cuidado de los militares.

At this point, I rather take the USA. Also, good to see you are still here, you commie scum.

This proves a couple of things.
1. The chances of the protesters starting the fire are higher than the national guard, although it seems to be accidental and there is still a chance that tear gas nade spark could have started the fire.
2. The Colombian goverment, or someone with enough influence, has interests in the US meddling with the Venezuelan situation since they went as far as to edit the public release.

What this doesn't change
1. Maduro was the one who stopped the trucks, allowing this escalation.
2. Venezuela government needs to be removed before their incompetence creates more problems for the entire continent.

Respondé de una vez quién quemó la ayuda.

Dude
>25k murders per year since 2008
>15% of the population in exile
>Average wage of 3 usd per month
>Not giving passports to the population having them trapped
>Electric rationing since 2009
>Food rationing since 2011

>Ban parties from runing in the elections at hand.

The Chavistas fuckers went so far and won´t back down out of fear of revenge so they want to remain at any cost.
So the entire population is hostage and can´t even have a fucking passport to leave.

Even if they burned that shit i can´t blame this , they are hostages at this point.

If they give them passports at least you may have a point , but they can´t even leave without becoming stateless , shit is fucked up.

Not really, no. There's not a good sense of private property, heavy price regulations, export/import sanctions, etc.
>terrorists
>the protestors
Oh so this is the way you're going huh?
It's a dishonest view the nyt is showing, putting the police as trying to descalate the situation when they caused it in the first place. Why the fuck are they trying to stop humanitarian aid trucks? Can you explain this?

I admit the kid was pretty retarded and couldn't make a decent molotov (which isn't that hard desu senpai), but it's pretty fucking dishonest to paint the kid as the bad guy when you know the context.
>If you're Venezuelan then you should
Stopped reading. You don't tell me what I should and shouln't do.
Also, we're already a Cuban/russian/chinese colony. What about OUR sovereignty?

They had since 2010 when all started to go to shit a massive homicide rate.
From 21k to 25k murders per year since then , it´s literally worse than the syrian civil war there.

People don´t understand how fucked up it is.

The burning was an accident because the cloth from the molotov cocktail fell.
If the police caused the burning, it was an accident because they don't shoot tear gas to cause fires.

But people seem to forget about all the politicians and artists calling Maduro a son of a bitch for burning humanitarian aid on purpose.

Right.

You so new it's squeaking. You should try to be more subtle.

The """kid""" was throwing molotovs at people. The protesters showed at the place with molotov bombs. They knew they started the fire. They blamed Maduro. I'm dishonest and taking things out of context.

Thanks man. Sorry for any inconvenience Argentina is suffering from this whole shitshow.
>want to become USA colony
Said who?

We could argue that the US and others have used this as a chance to ask for blood on Venezuelan soil, but the reality is that Maduro has already done more than enough to warrant a firing squad and his unstable government has allowed a nightmare to take place around the north of SA.
Clearly kikes are at hand here, but to pretend that the Venezuelan situation can go on forever without someone doing something is ludicrous. At Colombia we have been dealing with shit with the Venezuela government for years, it's not the kind of issue you solve with fines or being mean. It's a serious issue that's turning into a humanitarian crisis for the whole southern part of the continent.
