I’ve seen numerous videos from training excercises that show Eastern European Nations hosting the US army (especially in Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, and Latvia) and almost all of them the streets are crowded with people waving American flags and the flags of their home nation. Is this just due to a deep hatred of the Russians and excitement from knowing that the US is essentially the largest preventative measure against any aggression in Europe? I understand that there are obviously citizens from these countries who might dislike the idea and I don’t want this to be misconstrued as me saying everyone wants them there.

TRIPWIRE is the name of the NATO forces and equipment forward-staged in the Baltic states. It's pretty much the maximum forces allowed to be staged in those nations by treaty with Russia. TRIPWIRE is designed to slow down a Russian advance into the three states and allow the NATO heavy brigades in Poland time to armor up and get into action.
TRIPWIRE is expected to take heavy casualties in the event of invasion and would only hold off Russia for 36 hours but I believe the British 5th Battalion in Estonia would fall much quicker.

it doesnt. its all bullshit and this all came to light during the 2016 election cycle. merkel had basically admitted that germany was having small eastern european countries make parts for tanks that would be used against them
you see germany has been looking for a military build up for years. the cost of manufacturing puts this outside of germany however. so they went around from like poland to lithuania to eventually bulgaria (bulgaria refused at face value wanted nothing to do with it but germany tried to have a factory made) and set up factories to make parts. now they dont make a entire anything and they dont make many parts. some guy working at a factory noticed what part they were making. some hydrolic piece. the problem is at that size it wouldnt be any thing you use for like fork lifts are garbage trucks. he eyeballed it and came to the assessment the only thing it would be for is a tank. he told others and eventually germany was questioned and they just blurted out yes and we will go to war with them and merkel said people shouldnt think about western europes racism towards eastern europe
