yeah no shit. Ever since WW2 and the triumph of liberalism there has been a moronic tendency to condemn "propaganda media" and praise "independent journalism", which is a meme. Classical Mass media require a huge investment to get them going. A newspaper, a TV station, anythig nationwide requires someone powerful to build and finance it - some oligarchs, the government, a political party or movement etc. these outlets were and are build to communicate a worldview to the masses. A specific worldview that the power behind the outlet needs.Until recently it was called "propaganda" (openly btw) and was not concidered bad but natural. In feudalism, where politics was done by cliques of nobles you didnt have to persuade a lot of people to get your plan going. In a mass democracy, where you need millions to support your policy you need to propagandize the masses.
Propaganda in the mass media is normal and never went away, we just stopped calling it that because Goebbels was the propaganda minister or sth. All mass media outlets are and always were propaganda, its the nadure of democracy and any form of government based on popular supporta and party politics
