>Nearly 6.5 Million Canadians Are Cutting Meat Out Of Their Diet And It's Breaking Records
>A record breaking number of Canadians are starting to limit their meat intake.
>After Health Canada released their new food guide at the beginning of 2019, fruits and vegetables took the spotlight. The food guide focused on a more plant-based diet while meat and other animal products weren't included as much as they were in the older food guide. Now, according to a study conducted by the Guelph University and Dalhousie University, a record-breaking amount of Canadians are cutting meat out of their diets.
>This study by the University of Guelph was conducted as part of a broader project in the study of awareness of Canada's Food Guide. Through this research, it was discovered that Canada now has 1.3 million Canadians who identify as vegetarians, which is the highest amount that has ever been recorded throughout the nation. 466,000 Canadians also identify as vegan throughout the nation, which is also a record high.
>Overall, nearly 20% of all Canadians (6.5 million) are either cutting meat out of their diet entirely or limiting the amount of meat that they are consuming. In this 20%, it is not only vegetarians and vegans who are included. These percentages are record-breaking and more than ever before.
>A plant-based diet has started to become so popular in Canada that many main franchises are already starting to offer multiple vegetarian-friendly options.
>Narcity reported this morning that A&W launched their new Beyond Meat breakfast sandwich. The new breakfast sandwich uses a Beyond Meat sausage that's vegan for those who are looking for a quick plant-based breakfast before their morning commute.
>Canadians are starting to question the role that meat plays in a healthy and balanced diet.
Bank of Canada Interest Rate Decision just came out, 1.75% with no change, however Poloz the Clown is likely to cut after last quarter's 0.1% GDP growth and negative GDP growth in September, November, December, and likely January and February.
>The Bank of Canada today maintained its target for the overnight rate at 1 ¾ per cent. The Bank Rate is correspondingly 2 per cent and the deposit rate is 1 ½ per cent.
>Recent data suggest that the slowdown in the global economy has been more pronounced and widespread than the Bank had forecast in its January Monetary Policy Report (MPR). While the sources of moderation appear to be multiple, trade tensions and uncertainty are weighing heavily on confidence and economic activity. It is difficult to disentangle these confidence effects from other adverse factors, but it is clear that global economic prospects would be buoyed by the resolution of trade conflicts.
>For Canada, the Bank was projecting a temporary slowdown in late 2018 and early 2019, mainly because of last year’s drop in oil prices. The Bank had forecast weak exports and investment in the energy sector and a decline in household spending in oil-producing provinces. However, the slowdown in the fourth quarter was sharper and more broadly based. Consumer spending and the housing market were soft, despite strong growth in employment and labour income. Both exports and business investment also fell short of expectations. After growing at a pace of 1.8 per cent in 2018, it now appears that the economy will be weaker in the first half of 2019 than the Bank projected in January.
Canada added 56,000 jobs last month, blowing past expectations >A total of 67,400 full-time positions were added during the month but 11,600 part-time jobs were shed, accounting for the 56,000 net total.
Canada just racked up a record trade deficit as the value of oil exports plunges 21%
Not looking good. But things have to collapse before they can be rebuilt properly.
>Statistics Canada says the country’s merchandise trade deficit grew to a record $4.6 billion in December as lower crude oil prices prompted a drop in exports.
>Exports of energy products fell 21.7 per cent to $6.4 billion in December, the lowest level since July 2016. Excluding energy products, exports were essentially unchanged in December.
If you read the article, it has nothing to do with the price of meat. I eat meat and fish every day. Maybe in Poland that would make you an oligarch, but pretty much anyone who isn't living up in the literal arctic can afford it.

>Governing Council judges that the outlook continues to warrant a policy interest rate that is below its neutral range. Given the mixed picture that the data present, it will take time to gauge the persistence of below-potential growth and the implications for the inflation outlook. With increased uncertainty about the timing of future rate increases, Governing Council will be watching closely developments in household spending, oil markets, and global trade policy.
The Loonie is going to go below 70 cents and towards 65 cents by the next MPR, a drop of 10 cents.
Leafs, prepare your anuses. Your currency is about to free fall.
We hold foreign currency instead. The Mint was charging us $40/oz per year to store our reserves. We have the largest inground reserves in the developed world, we have laws allowing us to nationalize those mines whenever we want.
Your "far right" want higher taxes and more gun control than even Trudeau. You're a third world subhuman country. Hitler should have exterminated all of you.
>Canadian banks have prudent lending standards All Canadian banks were bankrupt and stopped marking their books in 2008. Per capita Leaf banks took 50% more in bail-out money from the Fed than US banks did at over $1.1T USD capita-equivalent while US banks only took $700B under TARP.
You tried invading us in 1812 while our men were off fighting Napoleon. When you send your 40,000,000 niggers across the border this time it won't be our women and children doing the fighting.
I remember when the dinosaurs evolved and stopped eating meat then when the fucking asteroid struck the planet earth and kicked up enough dust to block out the fucking sun, the ones that had only recently stopped eating meat, started feverishly eating the others dying of starvation as all the plants died off from no sunlight.
You couldn't hold a strip of defoliated jungle or a patch of sterile desert, even with Polacks "helping" you out. I wish Hitler killed them all they're the niggers of Europe.
I don't drink that shit. Why don't you ask Americans that they pay out of taxes to subsidize feed and dairy? I don't pay one cent. The average dairy farmer makes $260k/yr in Canada.
Poor Canada. It really is collapsing. Good thing it’s not my fucking problem.

>Insects >Canada >Larp
Nope. The government is pushing insects, $oy and tofu as alternatives to meat. They cite health reasons, environmental reasons and cite that 80% of humans on earth eat bugs
You've been told 200 times that you're not counting people that identify as Canadian. Poland is 1% white. Quebecois identify as ethnically Canadian and we're infinitely whiter than subhuman Polish niggers.
I'd take a Chinaman or Indian over a criminal turnip IQ white nigger Polack any day of the week. It was Slavs that forced us to abandon our White Canada policy after you niggers destroyed our cities in the 1980's and 90's.

Thing is though a house in Poland wouldn't be affordable making that
>A tentative deal reached on Monday to prevent another federal shutdown would include 55 miles of fencing along the United States border with Mexico. As of January, no new miles of barriers had been built so far under President Trump.
But how much does a house cost there? I will never own a house in Canada and I make more than minimum wage. Seems live city-centre apartment would be cheaper than in Canada a lot based on relative wages numbeo.com/cost-of-living/country_result.jsp?country=Poland
>“Legal immigrants enrich our nation and strengthen our society in countless ways,” the president said. “I want people to come into our country in the largest numbers ever, but they have to come in legally.”
