Last week, the Vice-Admiral AGAIN subpoened memos from Trudeau's office relating to the deal- but Trudeau's government has stonewalled the court- next month the Vice-Admiral's case may be throw out, lest Trudeau be implicated in another scandal. (Yes, the scandal would be the revelation of Trudeau's role in this public servant's quest to prevent cronyism).

Overall this is going to result in a very interesting Canadian parliament- up to 6 parties may be represented (the big 3, plus PPC, BQ and Greens) as a result of the fallout from this scandal.
We note that Bernier's support is likely 10% rather than 5% as the polls suggest, as turnout increases in South Burnaby's By-Election seemed to benefit Mr. Bernier's candidate there.
Canada in the 20th century had an average of 71% turnout, but 2015 was 68% and 2011 was 58%.
Most likely the impact of Trudeau's scandal will see a fall in turnout as liberals stay home, while Jaghmeet's retardation will suppress turnout from the NDP while Bernier scoops up anti-immigration NDP voters.
All of this opens the door for the possibility that the PPC could run a close fourth behind the NDP in the actual election, given that we are still 7 months away and Bernier is picking up steam despite a media blackout.
