Check out Derina Harvey Band. Can't link sorry, but they're on YouTube. Dope ass Celtic rock band. Tight musicians and the singer is amazing. They've been touring hard on their own steam for several years now. I'm a local fan, always happy to spread the word about them.
Classical is for snobs and "intellectuals." Folk will always be the music of the people.
