Where were you when [[[ APPLE ]]] got bent over and fucked up the ass by Wal Marts cock?
LOL
Nice Walmart made a deal with some chinks I presume.
It'll be like all those other economy computers. The plastic will feel weird they will put ALMOST enough memory to make it run well and heating will be an issue.
I bet the first recall on them will be because the solder on like the video wire will be prone to weakening from heat and disconnect at the slightest drop.
amazon already has had cheap tablets in the market for years
Like a Galaxy Tab? Fire tablet? Lenovo tab? I can't imagine buying an apple product ever, desu.
Literally the worst market to invest in. You have to sell at lost and hope you make money back from collecting user data. Also this should be on
>low priced ipad rival
As if there werent ten billion of these already
There's already dirt cheap android tablets you fucking retard. Fuck, you can get a tablet for 20 bux on black Friday.
Doesn't mean they work worth a shit.
Still shouldn't buy an iPad anyways, but they ain't trying to sell to your poor bong ass.
So theyre making a cheap tablet? They have those already
T. Apple fanboy
I actually sell phones. 90% of people buying ipads are doing so because of their familiar of their iphones. Most of them older people with a poor grasp of technology and are afraid of new technology. This will do nothing to Apple. iPad users are literally too loyal or too stupid to use even a superior competitor.
Not an apple fanboy
T. has bought chinese crap before
Hell literally today I had a customer buy a $1150 iPhone XS for their

year old daughter along with an iPad. They are programmed too deep to ever consider a cheaper option. Even sold them over $220 worth of plastic and glass accessories that they could have gotten on Amazon for like $30 if that.
I used to sell phones. Why do phones sales people even exist anymore? You guys are useless.
Apple is finished. I knew they would collapse after Steve Jobs died. Galaxy is coming out with the 2000 dollar Fold next month. iPhone is going frantic trying to come out with an equivalent phone, but it’s too late.
I needed a new phone but didn't want to pay outrageous prices so I went with the revel plus by t mobile for $250 + tax. I thought that technology was so good that a $250 phone could last me. Almost immediately this thing had memory issues, issues taking pictures, slow as fuck and randomly loses me calls and texts. Not keeps them in a buffer, literally losing them if I never got them. Check the phone manufacture and surprise, it's Chinese. I bet this phone probably spies on me too so I will attempt to root it to fix this. Do not buy cheap Chinese electronics.
People are stupid. That is like asking why do oil change places even exist anymore? People are too stupid or too afraid to do it themselves and pay someone else to do it for them. Never mind it is easy to do and far far cheaper to do it yourself. They lack the knowledge to do a very basic function of adult life. As our society ages eventually I think we'll see the massive downsizing of sales people and stores but that is like 30-40 years down the road until enough people are smart enough to do it themselves.
Also people are very very very fucking impatient. I cannot tell you how many tens of thousands of dollars people have wasted buying out their phones early when they are broken then use the much much cheaper option of next day insurance replacement. People would rather spend $400 and start a new payment agreement then $100 and waiting a single fucking day.
The ipod saved them. Business books in the 90s and before it trashed apple so bad about how they failed lol. Its only a matter of time. Theyre not innovative and it just takes a year like FB has had to really tank the company
Automation is coming WAY faster then 30 years. 6 or 7 is more like it. There's already McDonald's that have automated the front and back, employing 3 people to deal with the money and fix the machines.
It just comes down to when they will make more money not having workers then the customers still too retarded to self check out or ship to their home
Every year when a new phone is announced it is a little faster with a "new" feature no one wants that won't be in it next year. The biggest change is the price. Blows my mind that $1000 for a base new phone seems to be the standard.
As an aside why haven't they found a way to put an affordable projector into a phone? If you have a phone that you could show off a video or a picture to a group of people it probably would blow up.
The technology to replace me will come far far sooner then 30 years. It is the ability and willingness of the customers to interact with a robutt instead of a person that will take that long to saturate enough of the market to do away with human sales people. Plus stores do ALOT of tech support and trouble shooting. Something a robutt will have difficulty doing or understanding what the customer wants. Much of it involves very creative solutions that a machine literally just cannot do until it hits sentient AI levels of intelligence.
They’re all made in China retard
Like the company that designed it was Chinese too I mean so 100% everything Chinese vs 50%
Honestly I don't think we'll ever truly be done with sales people now that I think on it. I get to know my customer. What they do what they like if they have kids. I bring them out candy if they are in the store. I have a lot of prescripted jokes that get them laughing pretty much every 2-3 minutes. Then when I do try the upsell I got insider info about what they would need based on what they do. I got their kids a sweet and set them up on a tablet they can play games on. Demonstrate how fucking awesome it is to have their normally off the walls children immobilized and quiet while they do an errand. I make them like me so it is much harder for them to say "no" to more stuff they did not originally come in for. Everyone can say no to a pop-up. Far less likely when it is with a charismatic person they've built a strong rapport with. Each month I sell somewhere to the tune of $130k worth of equipment, accessories, and service for my company. 80% of that would have been lost if the human component were removed. Stores are just too good at upselling people to be worth doing away with. Anyone clever enough to buy online isn't going to come to the store. Everyone else it would lose money to just have a dispenso bot.
Fast food can do it because they are literally just fulfilling a service that is already easily prepared, using repetitive method, and does little to upsell. Sales will always have the human component for people willing to make a trip in person to buy.
This. Amazon runs specials on their tablets all the fucking time. Are they as powerful or well equipped as iPads? No, but they're also like a sixth of the price. You can find their 8 inch tablets on sale for like fucking $50 bucks sometimes.
I went to PC Richards the other day and realized I needed a sales guy to help me buy a fridge. However if there was just 1 fridge provider I wouldn't need him and I feel we are approaching this type of lifestyle where our options go down.
