Once they were in sports and entertainment it was just a matter of (((marketing))) to get it to grab hold. I was talking to my wife earlier and she commented on how I called myself a white man earlier, as she had never heard me say that before. Hanging is the most humane form of execution. When done properly it's almost instantaneous. The electric chair, lethal injection, gas chamber, were designed to be more humane, but we know now they aren't. Firing squad is a far second.
