MEDFAGS PLEASE HELP

>do sport in early January
>fall and hurt self badly
>hurts like a bitch, think it's nothing, wear a splint for a couple of weeks
>A week ago turns out it's broken bone
What do?
How bad can it get?
I'm too autistic to go the doctor and I don't even know where to begin with that shit
I can walk fine but ever since I learned of the broken bone I get tingling sensation and pain at night

Go to the doctor before you permanently damage it

Really depends on the location and severity of the break. You might be looking at ankle/knee problems in the future if its fibial, but you couldnt walk off a tibial fracture so thats a safe bet. Anyway get to a doctor you dumb fuck do you think i can sense how bad it is with nothing but a reference picture? I definitely cant teach you how to read your own xray properly via a single post.

Go to the doctor you dumb nigger.

Let me guess: you live in "first world country" USA?

Is pic your X-ray?
If so then you need surgery.

close to it yes, although mine is bigger and more defined
I got an appointment with some doctor, here's hoping I won't have a fucking cast around my foot

Close to it, isn't good.
If you have it, then post it.
The pic shows intra-articular horizontal avulsion of medial malleolus, distal third transvers fibular fracture, and open tibio-fibular syndesmosis, in other words the ankle joint is NOT stable and need surgery.
Usually surgery is done after the swelling have subsided, which is usually in 3 weeks at max.
If you don't have the X-rays, then which fracture pattern you have from this list?

Here is the back of the foot, thanks a lot for the help friend

Here's the perfect place to begin:

You got CT-Scan for your ankle?
What kind of health service does your country run?
That's the side view, you have posterior malleolus fracture, can be manged conservatively, IF it's the only injury you have.
What about the rest of the views?

>You got CT-Scan for your ankle?
Universal Health Care baby

Here's the rest showing damage, the other two seem irrelevant

What do you mean by "manged conservatively"? Do you think I'll need a cast?

>Universal Health Care baby
Getting CT scan for such fracture means your health service provider are idoits that can read normal x-ray, and need "MUH HIGH DEFINITION ULTRA THIN SLICES" CT-scan to know exactly what's wrong with your ankle.
BTW the ST scan expose you to much much higher radiation than regular x-ray, (Ionizing radiation, the kind that give you cancer) but they didn't tell you that did they?
>Do you think I'll need a cast?
What do you mean? Your leg is not in a cast already?

no it's in a splint, I try not to move too much, although I did walk around a lot thinking it would get better by itself

You shouldn't be putting any weight on it, these fractures usually need 3 months to heal.
Also a splint isn't good enough you need to have your ankle in a cast, it provide better fixation than a splint.
Also why didn't they put it in a cast already?
>manged conservatively
It means you don't need a surgery.

because I've only done the CT scans a week ago and doctors appointment are a 2 weeks in advance type of thing

So much for your """Universal Health Care""".
By now you must have realized I'm an orthofag, I usually see between 150 to 200 patient in a day, with waiting time of 5-10 minutes, and I live in a shitty 3rd world country, and barely make 8K/year.
Anyway your ankle need to be in a cast, here's your doctor's orders:
1. Elevate your leg about 4 cm above your heart level when in bed, this will ease the swelling and pain.
2. Take painkillers like Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500 mg three times a day.
3. DO NOT WALK ON IT, just barely touch the ground with it, in other words get crutches.
4. Get your ankle in a cast.
If you come to me I'll even do it for about 10$, instead of whatever they charge you.

thanks a lot for your advices

Don't mention it, and remember this is an advice from user on an image board take it with grain of sand.
As for my payment, I'm bored.
Anything you recommend for a fap? Pornhub or sadpanda is fine with me.
Also I forgot to ask, are you an athlete?

No, actually I'm an out of shape beta lanklet who got roped into playing footie with his Chad friend

Any specific fetishes or favorite tags?

Here you go, it's the most vanilla shit I have in my favs

>vanilla
Patrician taste.

No other option. Doctor, now. Since you didn’t go right away, there is a chance you have to operate as the bone grew wrong. And waiting longer may just further the injury, and the cost of fixing it
