Of course it wasn't, user. Forensic reconstructions and racial anthropology have been widespread in academia for generations. Think about what it means, though. These are people who recognise the existence of race, accept its scientific validity, know that it is not simply 'skin deep', and yet use their positions not to educate the public on the ancient and deep-rooted variations amongst Homo sapiens, but rather to distort the facts and propagandise from a hard-left perspective.

Cheddar Man was an interesting example, for a number of reasons. Aside from the concerns over the validity of the reconstruction, firstly, is why it made the news in the first place. Reconstructions of ancient faces are done all of the time, and they abound in British museums and scientific establishments. It's exceptionally rare to read about them in the papers, never mind see them as headline news on prime time television like Cheddar Man.
No explanation of the complex story of Europe's peopling, from Neanderthals to Basal Eurasians to Cro-Magnons to Mesolithics folk to the incursions of Anatolian Farmers and Indo-Europeans and... you get the picture. Just talk of his 'blackness', as well as some very deceptive spin about him being the first 'Briton' (conveniently forgetting the remains of many ancient hominins, the Red Lady of Paviland, etc). Even the photograph that was widely used made him appear even darker. There was no acknowledgement of the complexities of the genetics of skin pigmentation, nor that distinctly non-black folk such as Mongoloids do not possess the markers for skin lightening that farmers brought into Europe; something that would've brought into question the 'blackness' of Cheddar Man's skin tone.

Then, we had a continuation of this with the reconstruction of the 'Whitehawk Woman', a Neolithic farmer of partial WHG origins. They attempted to portray her as mixed-race, with an intermediate skin tone akin to the average Afro-Caribbean or Afro-American, as if pigmentation in WHG/ENF offspring functioned like that in 21st Century Afro-European half breeds. As asked in the video linked above, if this hugely-important skull that represents the diverse origins of Britons is accurately reconstructed, why is it languishing in a shitty little museum in a satellite town of a minor city, and not a major display at the British Museum?
