WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said at her weekly press conference Thursday she personally would support lowering the national voting age to 16.
“I myself, personally, I’m not speaking for my caucus, I myself have always been for lowering the voting age to 16,” Pelosi said when asked by The Daily Caller about her thoughts on the issue. “I think it’s really important to capture kids when they’re in high school when they’re interested in all of this when they’re learning about government to be able to vote.”

I really do think that the voting age should be raised to be at least 25-30 years old. I feel like people between the ages of 18-early 20's still haven;t realized who they are and what they really believe in. Age of consent in the US ranges from 16-18, so yes. About 1/3rd of states are each age. Everyone clamps on to the "18" since it's the age for porn and it's the age of consent in California and their influence. Fuck California.

I agree with this. Most elderly people cannot comprehend the societal and economic changes that have happened since they were young and they are so set in their ways that they cannot accept change when it is needed.
