for the most part I decreased the bass and then amplified everything back to a spot where it sounded good and wasn't too distorted.
this is the case for a lot of IRL recordings, concerts included.
the first sign was that the audio was actually loud on the original recording but my ears weren't picking up any information- it was just way too much bass.

I've lost access to the video but have to point out that there was absolutely no blood. How can someone get shot at point blank range , in front of a bright white wall and there be absolutely no blood splatter? All of the bodies laying on the green carpet and no blood pools. He was putting 2-5 shots in people yet there is no blood at all. Something smells funny here.
