seems more like the dude was trying to slip behind the shooter's back. the shooter's go pro was mounted on the left side of his head and the dude "rushing" was clearly going to the shooter's left side rather than coming at the shooter head-on. it doesnt even seem like the shooter hit him on the initial turn around. i think the "rusher" just hit the floor when he saw the guy turn around and tried to play dead. except shooter was smarter than that and put 5 rounds in him.

i've watched this particular scene quite a few times and it doesn't look like the shooter even hit the guy when he turned around. it looks like the shooter turned around and the dude just collapsed at that point. leads me to believe that the dude was already injured and trying to make a break for it and once he realized he was back in the shooter's crosshairs he basically gave up on life and collapsed and got the final rounds in him.
