Until you have been under fire, you never know how you will react. Gun battles are loud and scary. Some people startle and run. Some people freeze in place. Training helps, that's why armies do it, but until you are actually facing incoming gunfire, you never know how you will react, especially if you are a civilian (or a child) with no prior training or preparation.

You can't just assume there's only one shooter. They probably thought there as multiple and huddling was all they could do, but they could've also all charged him. Some would've died but at least they would've died with Honor, though I'm glad they didn't since I enjoy dead shit skins

Yes, I watched the 16-minute video. It seemed as though there were simply two piles of bodies in the main prayer room when he entered for the first time. To be clear, I'm not asserting a conspiracy theory here, I'm just explaining my perception of the video the first time around. After the initial shooting I think some of the people laying there were very much alive, but just assumed he was walking around looking for people on their feet still. I don't think they thought he was gonna start shooting people on the floor to make sure.
