Two shootings, one in NZ and another im Brazil happened this week and apparently they are trying to blame theses events not on white supremacists but on anonymous imageboards and tor-related websites. I haven't made a connection to any intelligence agency yet, but the attempt to blame privacy tools seems enticing, specially with the current state of wikileaks and the general war on whistleblowers. Now I'm not saying the CFR or some rogue intelligence agency is behind these attacks but they sure are putting a lot of work trying to foster the perception that privacy tools such as tor are somehow making it easy for these attacks. I'm afraid they might be trying to push the congress to pass something like a Yarovaya law
