If you're reading this, you're probably not in New Zealand. Right now, 3 of the 6 major ISPs that dominate NZ are blocking 8&Jow Forums and the Kiwi Farms from resolving. i.e. you type in Jow Forums.org, press enter, and the ISP's DNS servers go "no idea what a Jow Forums.org is, can't find anything about it".
This is called DNS hijacking. It's a way of censoring websites. France, for instance, commanded DNS servers not to resolve DP's URL.
Learn how to use public DNS servers like Google's. developers.google.com
Cloudflare runs their own at 1.1.1.1, but I've heard they censor websites too, so I'd advise against that.
Conversely, get a VPN that includes their own DNS servers. privateinternetaccess.com and nordvpn.com
You can also try the OpenNIC project at opennic.org - I run my own OpenNIC servers at 103.114.191.33 and 103.114.191.44 which you are more than welcome to use.
Educate yourself and resist censorship.
