More taxes means less money in the hands of people. Less children as a result. Less children means less future generations who are also paying for the system. It's a downward spiral where more old people stressing the system continuously causes less young people to be made and less people to prop up the system, thus the ones who are there are taxed even greater and have even less children. There is a correlation between introduction of income tax and a decrease in fertility rates in the west.

And to make it worse more often than not they would ignore or denied the documented medical issues and pretend it was all mental. The clinic that offered to amputate my finger offered to help fake a mental SSI case
