To give better context this guy wasn't at the christchurch mosque, they're referring to the second mosque based Aussie went to. Also there's no video of the second mosque shooting regardless so his story might as well be up in the air as well.
So the shooter was frightened when a civilian (not a government employee) picked up a gun the shooter happened to have discarded. What id the shooter didn't discard a weapon?
