Why do mass shooters always target random innocent civilians instead of the people they're actually angry at? Like in their manifestos they always write about how they hate the media, or the politicians, or the bankers, or the elites, or whatever. But they never actually shoot any of those people. Instead they just go to a random public place and shoot random nobodies who don't actually have anything to do with why they're angry in the first place.
The only shooter I can kinda-sorta respect (at least to the extent that a murderer can ever be respectable) is Dorner, because the people he shot were actually the same people he had a beef with and not just random innocents.
