With that said, if ALL the social welfare programs like Social Security and Medicare were FOLDED INTO a Basic Income, then I may be on board.

You can't have a highly educated, wealthy society taking the Birth Control Pill, and place it next to a lower IQ, poor society without access to the Birth Control Pill; and not expect illegal immigration when there's a shortage of workers in the wealthy society. exactly you moron. UBI is the most efficient type of welfare because its automatic and there is no need for bureaucracy to research for requirements to allocate the funds. UBI is so efficient that even a computer could allocate it automatically, if UBI replaces all other welfare the size of government would be reduced dramatically
